My Apron is done!  It is not as colorful as my daughters, but I like it very much. 

I can hardly wait to use it while we are lapbooking.  I can just imagine filling all the pockets with tape, scissors, hole punches, etc... (There are 3 BIG pockets along the bottom of the apron and 1 on top.  The top one has 2 pockets for pens.)

Yeah, I know...It doesn't take much to make me happy!  LOL

I love the idea of making aprons to wear during homeschooling! We have smocks for art work and a couple of aprons we use in the kitchen, but I never thought of it for the daily work, like lapbooking in your case, or notebooking in mine.

Very cute apron. Love the fabric. I have started wearing an apron while cooking, and find that I almost can't start in the kitchen until the apron is on. Its a lost art/functional garment for women. Although I think it is making a come back in the homeschool community.

Now, you know you have to do the Apron Power contest!! Have you heard about it??? Check out my blog and you can see the button on my sidebar. I heard about it through Shannon @ Rocks In My Dryer! You and your kids have to put on the aprons and show off your lapbooking aprons!!! That is just wonderful!!!

I found your blog today and can't wait to read more! I love all the aprons you've made!! I have wanted to make an apron for quite a while and want my daughters to wear them too when we cook! You have inspired me and I am going to plan on making some really soon!! Did you use a certain pattern? We have lapbooked a bit but I'd love to learn more about how others lapbook! I was looking at the ones we've done a few days ago and really missed doing them! The kids loved it!
