Here is a fun and simple project that requires NO sewing!Step #1
Cut a pattern of the shape you would like your pillow to be out of newspaper. We chose a heart. (A square would be easier.) Pin pattern on a double layer of polar fleece. Cut around pattern. Remove pattern, but keep pieces pinned together. Cut fringes around the shape at least 2 inches deep. Cut both layers at the same time so the fringe matches up.
Step #2
Tie the fringe together in a knot connecting the 2 layers. (Keep layers pinned together to reduce slippage.) Leave a few inches open to stuff. Remove pins.
Step #3
Stuff! Then tie the last few pieces of fringe closed.
