Here is the first view we got. Notice how the top on the moon is a bit flat. That was the very last of the eclipse.

Here you can already see it is getting rounder on the top.

And rounder!

Just beautiful! The kids were so excited!


This was taken with a different camera setting. It shows more of the actual color of the moon and less of the background color.

The kids and I thought the color was very similar to all the tail lights that were passing us as we were pulled over on the side of the road watching the moon! LOL

By the time we drove home the Moon had risen and had turned completely white. It was pretty cool to see it go from red to white in the matter of a half hour.
