Here is what we did Sunday on our trip to San Diego...
THE BEACH!!!
Yep, this IS how I wanted to spend Mother's Day! Fun, fun fun!!!
Our nephew is in the Navy and stationed in San Diego, so we got to go to the beach on Base on Coronado Island. What a treat! Hardly anyone was there and we had a huge section of beach all to ourselves. We could even see Hotel Del Coronado. The kids had a blast playing and I loved doing nothing and relaxing!

I loved this picture of my 3 year old because if you look closely neither of his feet are on the ground! LOL He was having the time of his life!
This picture of our niece makes me laugh! She is ALWAYS cold! So here she is bundled up at the beach!
This started out as digging for clams. It turned into a lesson on man against the sea! LOL They were trying desperately to build a wall out of sand that the waves would not destroy. The sea won every time!
It is hard to get a picture of 5 busy kids on the beach. Here is the best I could do!
The sand at this beach was so gorgeous. It looked like it had gold glitter in it. 
Our biggest find of the day!
