If you have never been to a used curriculum sale I would encourage you to go to one. Not only because you are going to save A LOT of money, but because you are going to get to see a wide variety of cool curriculum up close and personal. Not only are you going to get to see it, you are going to get to talk to actual homeschool parents that have used the material and know a lot about it. Even if you buy nothing the learning experience is going to be worth the trouble of going The chances of buying nothing are not good though! LOL
Here is what I bought yesterday at the used curriculum sale I attended.
A really cool set of wooden blocks for my 3 year old. ($1.00) And yes we already had blocks, but these had some really cool Aztec stair step pieces and warrior guys we didn't have.

160 piece word tiles, ABC Bible Memory Cards, States & Capitals Music CD, Fractions Stax & Cuisenaire Reading Rods. ($6.00)

3 American Girl Books, On Yonder Mountain, Through the Gates of Splendor (For ME!) and Teaching With Favorite Magic Tree House Books. ($5.50)

Felt Board Sets - Faces and Expressions (new), The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, Letters and Numbers (new), A-Z Finger Puppets. ($5.50)

Total spent $18.00. Total fun had looking around at cool stuff, seeing friends and hanging out with like minded Mom's...priceless!
