Just when you thought it was safe to come back to my blog.....Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
We are back to making things with Duct Tape! LOLThe kids are doing VBS this week and my oldest decided he needs a different Duct Tape item to take each night . He wore his Duct Tape Visor Tuesday night and all the boys just love it! (Duct Tape is a very boy friendly craft apparently!) So for Wed. night he made a bracelet. Then we needed something for Thursday night....So we made Bible covers!
Here is what my 12 year came up with.

We put a big pocket on the back.

It goes very well with his visor and bracelet.

Here is the one we made for my 6 year old daughter.
The purple piece of tape isn't stuck down, it's just covering her name for the picture. Of course she had to decorate it with Sharpies to match the tote bag we made earlier. She is very pleased with the final product!

My 3 year old chose red and purple for his.

He is so proud that HE has a Bible cover like the big kids!

Oh, and the kids have found a new FAVORITE use for duct tape!
LOL! I can't believer I am posting this picture..But, my 3 year old came up and stuck the tape on my mouth and then took the picture. He was so proud of himself! BTW, if anyone was wondering...We have used up 4 rolls of tape now. They cost $2.96 each (at Wal-Mart) and we made a tote bag, 2 visors, a bracelet, a mini purse and 3 bible covers. Not bad for $12.00!
