As soon as I saw this post I grabbed a piece of paper and made a little house. We are getting ready to make a big move and I was thinking about having the kids do a lapbook on us moving. This little house would be perfect to add to the lapbook! Thanks for sharing!

As soon as I saw this I thought of the little saying -
Here is the church, here is the steeple, open the doors and seee all the people! My 5yr old has been going around saying that so I'm sure she will love this activity!

THanks for posting this neat paper fold. This will be great for lapbooks and also children's book crafts! They love the Dr. Suess In a People House. I think we will make this and add pictures inside like the story!
Thanks again!

Mar. 8, 2008 - Lap books are just what I have been looking for

I taught in the public school for 8 years. I loved theme units. It would hurt my feelings when we would complete a unit and I would see all those great activites cramed in backpacks or in the garbage never to be enjoyed again. NOW you showed me a way to help my daughter whom I homeschool enjoy them and learn from them and have documentation for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Stephany
