I was tagged by Kristi over at Living the Life. Since I have been tagged several times before you all probably can't stand to hear more random stuff about me...hehehe...So I thought I would tell you 7 random things about me and Thanksgiving!
Here is goes...
Thanksgiving in my favorite Holiday!
Pumpkin Pie is my favorite Thanksgiving dessert! I don't even mind baking them! I also love pecan pie, but since no one else in my family likes pecan pie we never have it.
We have a family Thankfulness journal we get out every year and everyone writes what they are thankful for that year. Then we can read back over all the past years and see how we have grown and been blessed.
When I was a child we spent every Thanksgiving at my Aunt and Uncles farm. It was a BLAST!!! All the cousins had the run of the farm. Those are wonderful memories for me!
My husband makes the best Turkey I have ever tasted! We tease him that he could take a cardboard box and turn it into the most moist delicious turkey in the world! LOL
Our Thanksgiving menu every year is...Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, pistachios salad, cream cheese corn, homemade bread and pumpkin pie. YUM!!! (Probably exactly what you are having! LOL)
We have Thanksgiving at home every year. My husband LOVES to cook and that is a big part of the celebration to him. We frequently invite friends and family to join us. But you will always find us home for Thanksgiving.
We have homeschooled our children from the start and we love every minute of it! This is my place to share my thoughts on homeschooling, my kids and living for the Lord. All the while being a little outside the box!!
