And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
Isaiah 11:1
A Jesse Tree is a wonderful tradition that will help you keep Jesus at the center of your Christmas celebrations. Jesse was the father of King David and the idea of the Jesse Tree is to point out the lineage from David to Jesus. I first heard about the Jesse Tree about three years ago and have wanted to do one with my family ever since. I finally decided this is the year! I thought I would share with you some FREE resources I found to help you create your Jesse Tree.
Jesse-Tree.com explains what a Jesse Tree is and gives a list of devotionals and ornaments.
This site gives you a devotional to do with your family every day of the month. (starting Dec. 2nd)
Here you will find a FREE pdf file with patterns to make Jesse Tree Ornaments.
This is another FREE printable for Jesse Tree ornaments. (Scroll down to the middle of the page.)
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that your Christmas will be full of blessings and focused on Jesus!
I'll see you next week right here at - Freebie Fridays!
