We finished our 12 days of Christmas Lapbook! YEAH!!! I LOVE IT!!! It came out so nice and we all learned so much doing it!
Here is the cover.
Folder #1 is all info about the Song. On the left is the song with all the words. Middle is each item from the song and inside what Biblical item it represents. Left tells the legend of the song.
Folder #2 covers the Biblical meanings of 1 -5 These booklets cover: Jesus, The 2 parts of the Bible -Old and New Testament, The 3 Theological Virtues, and the Four Gospels.
Folder #3 covers 6-9 These booklets cover: The 6 days of Creation, 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit. 7 Bee-Attitudes, 9 Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Folder #4 covers 10 -12. These booklets cover: The 10 Commandments, 11 Faithful Apostles and the 12 points of the Apostles Creed.
We could have put it together with less folders, but I liked laying it out so that the booklets are pretty much in order. This is going to be such a nice tool to go back and review so many things about the Bible! I know we will be returning to it again and again! (Oh and this lapbook was extra fun because my rent-a-kid was able to do it with us!)

What a great lapbook. I really appreciate all your links and ideas. I have my friends three daughters here for the day while she is in surgery and so we will do the nativity lapbook. I need to keep 6 girls 10 and under busy! I wish I had gotten a play nativity when my kids were much smaller. I keep looking for one, and hopefully on sale. I love the playmobile one and the Little People one. We made the little terra cotta pot nativity this year. What a blast. I hope maybe next year we can add more characters to our scene!
Merry Christmas--
Susan
I think everything looks like it came out okay (as far as the templates go); I should probably add the days (first day, second day, etc.) to the layer book, do you think? Any other problems?
Thanks :)
P.S. I also posted to the HSS Yahoo! Group so the ones working on The Twelve Days Lapbook could come and get a peek at yours. ;)
This is exciting! We used some of the booklets in our Christmas Lapbook we did for our blog meme. We even made a video and put a link where others can print up these awesome resources!

Thanks so much for sharing them with us! It was so much fun learning the song too!
I stumbled upon your site while looking up homeschool ideas (I am in my 2nd yr and still learning, scratch that I will always be learning). I found this book very valuable and look forward to making it with my kids. Thank you for all the work and effort you put in to sharing it with all of us.
We have homeschooled our children from the start and we love every minute of it! This is my place to share my thoughts on homeschooling, my kids and living for the Lord. All the while being a little outside the box!!
