Hello! I wondered if you have a recommendation for an alphabet lapbook… one that I could print. And I’d like it to be a good quality one but it would also be great if I could get a free one! I’d be willing to supplement I guess.
Well, thought you’d know if anyone would! I have been hearing from you weekly (freebie column and Minute) and I really enjoy your ideas!
Thank you! I don’t know how you can just keep up the pace!! Adriane
Of course this got me looking around for ABC Lapbooks! Now, this was something that was on the never ending to-do list I carry around in my head. The first week of October I will start teaching an ABC Precschool class for a group of homeschooled preschoolers, including my 4 year old. (I am SO excited!) But, I hadn't found the time to actually look for the Lapbook yet. However I have now found a DOOZIE! LOL
I told Adriane this is like a Lapbook on steroids! LOL They call it both a Alphabet Notebook and a Lap-N-Note on the webstite. It's pretty much a combination of Lapbooking and Notebooking. There are 26 "pages" that you make mini-books for. One page for each letter of the alphabet. Then you put your pages into a notebook and keep adding until you have made them all! What fun and what a great treasure this will be at the end of the year! YAY! This is going to be an intricate piece of my 4 year olds upcoming schoolyear!
