It takes a lot to render me speechless, but my American Girl Club came as close to doing it last night as probably anyone ever has in my life!
Look what they gave me for my birthday!
MY VERY OWN AMERICAN GIRL DOLL! And not just any American Girl Doll, but JULIE the one born in 1965 JUST LIKE ME! WOW! I cannot even tell you how surprised and thrilled I was!
Here I am with the girls after they gave it to me.
Am I blessed or what? (Their mom's are pretty special to me too!)
Here they girls are all giving me bunny ears. LOL

And of course my daughter is pretty happy about MY new doll too! LOL
I am telling you they got me good! I could not have been more suprised or more happy with my gift. This is something I truly wanted, but would have NEVER bought for myself. I already have her sitting on a shelf in our 60's schoolroom!
:^)
Happy Homeschooling,
Jamin

You look just like a Christmas morning girl who just got her favorite doll. What a sweet gift. I have enjoyed all your posts on AG club. My daughter and I were in AG club last fall. Ours is a 6-week, 1-girl study (Julie, this year), so we are looking forward to next year. We will probably be starting over with Felicity!

Oh, that is so special!!! Several years ago, we got my mom the Molly doll from "her" time - it brought her to tears, too. Her granddaughters are always wanting to play with her, but she's mainly to look at - not for playing with! My mom and daughter both took their American Girls to the AG place in Chicago while we were on vacation. What wonderful memories!
