This week for American Girl Club we made a Tussie-Mussies!
Here is my daughter with her finished project.
More cuties!
I love these pictures because it shows the big difference is size of the girls that come to club each week. The lovely thing is that no one cares who is big or small or how old anyone is. (The girls range from age 6 to 11!) They all just love each other and have a great time being together. I should get audio of all the squeals each week when we all are arriving and they see each other! LOL
Seeing these smiles each week makes the effort of putting together the club SO worth it! I spend as much time smiling as they do! This week the girls got mer laughing my head off because while I was reading to them about Colonial medicine kits I stubbled over the words and said something about "The doctor being able to fit in the bottom drawer." before I got the whole messed up sentence out of my mouth they were all giggles! I am not sure the mom's heard what I said, I think they all thought I had finally lost my mind as I was doubled over laughing at myself. (You probably had to be there! LOL)
Anyway, as I write this I can't help but think about the fact the a year ago Tuesday was my first post after our big more across country! A year ago I didn't know anyone is our new location. God has blessed us so much! What a year it has been!
It was another FUN evening of learning and laughing!
Happy Homeschooling,
Jamin

P.S. If you had trouble opening the Travel Notebook Pages I had in my post yesterday I have re-saved them so they are NOT in docx anymore. (That docx is always causing me trouble! LOL) You will find them HERE. Also, if you are looking for more worksheets try HERE. If you are looking for writing prompt for your travel journal go HERE.
We have homeschooled our children from the start and we love every minute of it! This is my place to share my thoughts on homeschooling, my kids and living for the Lord. All the while being a little outside the box!!
