What's in My Purse!
Posted in My Kids
My husband and I spent yesterday
painting our Master Bathroom. At dinnertime I had gone down
stairs, directly below the Master Bath to cook. My heart almost
stops when I heard a HUGE crash! I go running upstairs to see
what happened, visions of him unconscious on the floor dancing in my
head! Half way up the stairs I meet my 11 yo son running down to
me “What was that Mom?!!” We try the bedroom door and it’s
locked! I remember I had locked it when I went downstairs to keep
the 2-year-old from knocking Dad off the ladder…. I’m yelling, “Honey,
are you all right, are you alright?” No answer. My son and
I run downstairs to get the key to the bedroom door out of my
purse. I grab my purse and dump the whole thing upside down in
the Living Room chair. That’s when I paused briefly to laugh
about what all was in my purse! Here’s what I saw in that brief
moment before I ran back upstairs:
My wallet
Sunglasses
My keys (Thank God!)
3 diapers
1 pull-up
Container of wipes
3 Hotwheel cars
1 stuffed bunny
A pencil
My sons wallet
Flashlight
1 broken candy cane
3 lollipops
Am I a MOM or what! LOL
Thankfully, my husband was okay. He had knocked the ladder over
while he was not on it. PTL!! He did suffer a bad scrap on
his arm. (He wasn’t amused when I offered to doctor him up with Barbie
Band-Aids! LOL.) My shaker style storage cabinet took a bad
hit too, but all in all things were much better than I had imagined!

Hi! I hit the "random blogger" button, and here you are! :o) I laughed about the purse...I'm afraid to even dump mine out, it's got so much in it. I'm sure it would be amusing! Glad your dh wasn't hurt badly!

Glad your dh was ok! Sounds like you have a pretty big purse! Mine gets filled with a bunch of stuff too including trash when there's no place for the kids to throw away gum wrappers or whatever.

Okay, I saw this story online and couldn't help but think how dissapointed a purse snatcher would be if he got MY purse! LOL
Crime-proof purse
Women in Malaysia can now buy peace of mind starting at just $27. That's the price tag for a new purse on the market in Malaysia complete with breakaway straps and more than $13,000 of insurance. An accessories company in the southeast Asian nation, where purse snatching is commonplace, created the handbag with potential victims in mind. Usually, thieves just grab a purse while riding on motorcycles, often tearing a woman down to the pavement with the bag and sometimes causing serious harm. The new purse would rip away from the woman without throwing her to the ground. And since it's designed to be stolen, the purse comes with insurance to cover the losses.
