I have a bumper sticker on my mini van the reads "My Daddy is in love with my Teacher!" I bought it a couple of years ago at a Homeschooling Convention. I wish I could see the looks on peoples faces as they try to figure it out!A year ago October I was stopped at a stop light and I noticed the woman in the car next to me motioning for me to roll my window down. I may not have done it, but since it was a few days before the Presidential Elections & she had Bush/Cheney signs all over her car I was curious. When I rolled down my window she asked where I had gotten my bumper sticker. I told her and then asked about all the signs on her car. Turns out she was working for the campaign and two days later Vice President Cheney was coming to town. She asked if I'd like tickets to go see the Vice President speak! Now , if that is not a homeschool Mom's dream come true I don't know what is! LOL I happily took her up on the offer. We had to quickly get our names cleared through Secret Service. Two days later there we were, right in the same room with Vice President of the United States of America! I don't even have words to tell you how awesome it was!
We got the homeschool miles out of the experience. We wrote reports on VP's and 1st Ladies. We made scrapbook pages. We researched about Vice Presidents in History. We watched the elections even closer than we had before.
I thought of all this because I came across a blog that had a bunch of homeschooling bumper stickers posted on it. If you don't have one on your car you might want to get one. You never know where it might take you!

If you are looking for a homeschooling bumper sticker here is a site I found that sells them.
