STAR WARS
I saw this movie last night and the night before. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would TOTALLY give it five stars. my favorite charectores (I didn't spell that right) were princess lei, hans and r2d2. my brother's favorite was luke skywalker and my sister's were r2d2, old ben and cp3o. I have already put the second one on hold and then I will see the third after that. My mom doesn't want me to see the new ones and I won't! It is kind of funny to have two moons (I think those are moons). I like the effect. I thought ob1canobi was AMAZING! he had the fource of good on his side and I thought he carried the light saber very well. I wish he had not taught darth vader though..........the dreaded darth vader isn't scary at all!!!!!!!! I actually thought he was kind of silly, but that is just me. His breathing was really funny. the rest of these you can tell what part of the movie they have come from. I thought the part were luke bribed hans into helping him save the princess. HELP SAVE THE GALAXY! |

my veiws on Evolution and Creationism
I wrote this today.....
EVOLUTION OR CREATIONISM?????????
For many years people have tried to find out the truth in evolution, and many come up with clues that seem to be true, but are they? Creationists have been battling against relatives of a pile of goo (or so people think) for centuries, but what’s the use? To blow all the little questions out of the water lets get to the point. Which one is the true belief?
Creationism has been around since the beginning of time. The bible has very good proof when god created the earth with love in seven days and didn’t leave it up to a pile of bubbly goo. The animals are made all in one piece and at one time. So of course they don’t become another animal in about a decade. If you look around you, you can see wonders that have slowly grown, like majestic mountains that have come from bumps on the earth, and raging rivers from small trickling streams, but people have NEVER found half dog half monkey fossils.
Evolution started of with a big bang (which was given up a long time ago), there is no loving god, no angels and no demons. It just started with a pile of goo, then a fish, a frog, a cat, a dog, an ape and last but not least a human being. To believe that people came from hairy apes is kind of hard to imagine, but there is no god, so what should we have been? People have found skeletons that look like half people and half apes, so that should be the end of creationism right? WRONG!
I believe that people are created in god’s image. That we are all beautiful in his sight. Another thing that stops Evolution is that the earth is not as old as many people think it is. So we ask again, WHICH ONE IS THE TRUE BELIEF? I believe that creationism is the right one, because our great and awesome god would not have left all the important work of creation to a useless pile of goo.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul.

THE FIFTH OF MARCH
| This is another book by ann rinaldi about the fight between the british soldiers and the americans on march fifth. The main person in the story is rachel marsh an indentured sevant to the adam family. She takes care of the two children johnie and naby. Her uncle is a tory, she has an american friend, but she doesn't want to choose sides. she is friends with a henry knox who is a book keeper. she then meets a british soldier named matthew kilroy. He wants to be more than friends, but she doesn't (she wins). She witnesses the fighting on march fifth and finally realizes that she is an american. I liked this book, but I would have chosen differently in the end, but that is just because I am a little romantic. |

Alvin and the chimpmunks
Last thursday night, my brother, sister and I saw this movie. That was my second time seeing it. It is a really funny movie, but it does have a couple of crude humour parts(the ruined show ,ect.). My favorite chipmunk was theodore, my sister's favorite was theodore and my brother's favorite was Alvin. I LOVE the part when theodore goes to bed with dave after complaining of a nightmare. The director of jet records was ICKY ICKY ICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!! he was just a stuck up snob! my brother was laughing his head off during the whole movie practically. One of my sister's favorite parts was the end when the chipmunks got out of the cat carrier. I would defenently say you should watch this when you are down right blue, because it is soooooooooooooooooo funny!!! I would most likely give it three and a half stars though because some of it was kind of cheesy. The guy who played dave looked a little weird. |

THE COFFIN QUILT
| I finished this book in one day, it was so good. It is also by ann rinaldi and it is about the feud between the Hatfields and the Mecoys. Fanny Mecoy is the person who's views and complants (I didn't spell that right) you see. It all starts when her older sister roseanne runs of with Johnse Hatfield. neither of the fathers give their blessing. Lots of really sad things happen after that. roseanne becomes pregnant and has a girl who she calls sarah elizabeth (she dies of the measels about a year later). Roseanne also starts making a coffin quilt, and when anyone dies she moves their coffin to the middle. Fanny does NOT LIKE IT! Johnse and roseanne seperate and Johnse marys Nancy Mecoy a relative of fanny's. later the fued gets soooooooooooooo bloody that five out of six of fanny's brothers and two out of five die, her mother is maimed and their haouse is burned. FREAKY!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The redheaded princess
| This is a really good book about queen elizabeth when she was princess elizabeth. It is by ann rinaldi. Elizabeth is banished from court because she helped katherine parr get out of her locked room and get to the king. she was nine then. She writes to katherine parr and katherine parr makes king henry love Elizabeth again. Her father is grosely fat and he has a wound on his leg that has never healed. When she was twelve her father died leaving the throne to the boy king Edward. Sr. edward seymour is lord protector and Elizabeth goes to live with katherine parr. she falls in love with sr. thomas seymour , but he disgraces her and she leaves to live with a sr. denny and his wife. After a while she returns to her dear hatfield. Edward dies at fourteen and he names jane grey as queen of england. Mary raises a army and crowns herself queen and then captures queen jane and all who were behind her. later jane grey is beheaded. Mary tries to get Elizabeth to accept the catholic faith, but Elizabeth just plays along. Mary says she is pregnant three times, but in the end they find that she is just dying. After she dies elizabeth becomes queen of England for about fourty-six years. |

"of nightingales that weep"
| This book is by katherine patterson who wrote "jacob have I loved". It is about a japenese girl the daughter of a samurai. Her father dies in battle and her mother marries a ugly potter. the girl (I forgot her name) goes to the court of a princess and then to the court of the child emporer. she falls in love with a spy from the enemy's side. her mother dies from a plague and in the end the girl marries the ugly potter (goro). I was not too happy about that, and I was NOT happy when the bad guy who she loves didn't like her any more because she had been working on a farm and was no longer beautiful. I liked this book, but I like "jacobb have I loved" better. |

THE PASTOR'S WIFE
| Mom and I finished this book last night (well we still have the epiloge to read). It took us a LONG time to get through, but it was just amazing. Sabina wumbrane, her husband richard and their son mehei are jews and they made it through ww2. they live in bucherist and after ww2 is finished the have to go through the communests(I didn't spell that right). richard is arrested first and then sabina. sabina spends about 14 years in prison with the worst kinds of people. Gypsies, prostetutes and lots more. Richard is in prisoned two times with the total of around twenty years. when sabina gets home from prison she still has lots of trials to go through. Finally in the end it all ends happily, but you have to read it to really get the details, because I don't want to spoil anything. I think sabina is still alive, but I don't think richard is. |

sherlock holmes!
| I just finished reading this book and really liked it! there were about eight or nine stories ranging from the kind of mild story "the red headed league" to the gruesome story "black peter". my favorite one was "the engineer's thumb". It was about a engineer who was almost killed in a press that was activated by a german. It all ended happly (or maybe not, because the guy got detatched from his thumb). It is kind of funny because after I finished the book I asked my parents which stories they had read. I rambeled on and on about all of them and I think I lost them at the very beginning. My dad has read some, but he had not heard of any of the titles that I had said. Mom had not read them at all, but we have listened to them by jim weiss so she had heard of "the red headed league". OH WELL!!!!!!!!! |

TWO PLAYS
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST
The roving park players did a pretty good job with this play. Our family went to see it in the park a couple weeks ago. I would give it three stars for their acting. My favorite person was earnest. He was good looking and slightly filled the shoes of colin firth. I thought that some of them were just saying their lines and not really acting them out. Algea was tall and thin, but he didn't have curly hair. Cecily was played by a thai lady and I knew the lady who played gwendolen. I would have liked to be in that play and I would most likely have wanted to be gwendolen.
YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU
Daddy and I saw this june 27 at eugene bible college. A friend of mine played bessie (the dancing sister). My favorite people were the russian guy, donald and penny (the mother).I would totally givee them four and a half stars for their acting. It was kind of hard to fit the girl who played alice into her part, because jean arthur had blond hair and the girl who played alice had dark brown hair. There were a couple of things they added to the play that were not in the movie, like a drunk lady, a russian duchess and a parlor game. Mister anthony P curby sr. was very funny in his own stiff way. |

"the winslow boy"
This movie is a okay movie, but it is kind of confusing. I would give it 3.5 stars for their effort, but I think it ended very ubruptly. My favorite part is the part when jeremy northam stands up and really goes to town in the courthouse. My favorite person of course was jeremy northam. Rebecca pidgeon smoaked a lot in the movie, to tell the truth everyone smoaked a lot in the movie. That was a little weird. I found out after the movie that this was a true story. The accused boy grew up and died fighting during world war two. |
