Master Sergeant Jefferson Donald Davis was Killed In Action on December 5, 2001 north of Kandahar during Opertaion Enduring Freedom. "Donnie" enlisted in 1984 as a medical specialist, went on to serve as a medical sergeant and eventually was selected to be a Team Sergeant in the 3rd Battalion, Special Forces Group (Airborne). During his service with the Army, he was in Operation Desert Storm and numerous contingency operations in Southwest Asia. His awards and decorations are numerous...one being the Purple Heart Medal.
"Donnie" was married with two children. He was 39 years old.
Thank you, Jefferson Donald Davis, for your courage and bravery. Prayers are with your family. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten...
