Menus

I'm posting our menus a little early because I'm...well...ahead of schedule and that's probably never gonna happen again! lol!!  I usually try not to shop on Sundays but I'm going to have to do that this week.  Check out the other menus over at I'm An Organizing Junkie.

MondayCrockpot Catalina Chicken  Roasted Potatoes and Salad

Tuesday:  Baked Cheese Sandwiches with choice of Chicken Noodle or Tomato Soup

Wednesday:  Sandwiches and Baked Fries...I'll get whatever deli meat and cheese is on sale then add veggies and something different...like snowpeas....

Thursday:  Pizza

FridaySlow Cooked Coffee Pot Roast  and Veggies

SaturdayPeter Peter Pumpkin Eater Soup and some sort of Bread.  This is a new recipe for me...I have a goal to cook 5 recipes from each of my cookbooks so this is my start!  I bought this Blue Moon Soup not for the recipes but for the illustrations.  After reading through some of the recipes though, I think they sound pretty good!

SundayCrockpot Chicken Sante Fe  and Baked Tortillas

I'm trying out a new shopping list generator thingy over at My Grocery Checklist  I guess it's ok...what do you all use?  I really don't want to make my own list but I think that may be what I have to do....

Sounds like a lot of good food, hope the crockpot recipes worked out for you! :) I haven't made that Catalina chicken one in ages, I need to try it again. I make the Chicken Santa Fe often though, since it's so easy and we just like it over fat-free tortilla chips. Sigh - I need to be cooking out of some of my cookbooks more, but I find so many good recipes online that it's hard to pull out the cookbooks sometime! :)

Have a great day!

Hey Jenny - I was visiting some menus from last week and mistakenly took your early post to be last week's menu. DUH, sorry 'bout that! Hope the crockpot ones work for you this week, and that you have a great week!

Take care, and thanks for stopping by my blog, I SO appreciated your nice comments about my photos!

Yum, crockpot chicken santa fe is one of our favorite things around here! And I see you linked it to the family website! (my sister, Stacy)

Let me know what you think of the roast. Also the catalina chicken has a strange combo of ingredients. I'd like to try it but I'll wait and see what you have to say about it first. Laura (org junkie)
