I   FreeCycle!  If you don't FreeCycle you are really missing out on some neat things.  Today I picked up four plants from a really nice lady who grows bonsai trees and japanese maples among other plants...those two seem to be her favorites!  She offered them through our local FreeCycle group.   There were a lot of plants available and she said that if the rest of the people didn't show up that I could come back and take them all!  I'm thinking Christmas presents! lol!!

Here's what I picked up:

a small Suriname Cherry Tree

a Ponytail Palm (see picture below...this is not mine but maybe I'll be able to tame my plants mane and end up with this...maybe?)

a Phalaenopsis orchid....she was unsure what color it would be so it will be a surprise!

and finally a Cattleya orchid...again, unsure of color so it will be a surprise also.

The real surprise will be if I can actually keep these four plants alive! lol!!
