If you see the dancer rotating clockwise you are right brained (creative). If you see her rotate counter clockwise, you are left brained (logical).
She's dancing clockwise for me and I don't see how it could look like she's going counter clockwise? But perhaps that's because I'm creative and not logical? Or maybe it's a hoax. Which way does she turn for you? If you can' see her on the blog, you can check it out here.

Well, I couldn't see it at all on your blog, but I was intrigued enough to google her. I found the same test on http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21598,22492511-5005375,00.html. If this is the same picture you saw, she is definitely dancing counter clockwise. I even asked my husband... he said the same thing you did.
"How can you see anything else?"
Ha... very cool!

Counter clockwise! And, it's true, I'm much more logical rather then creative. Sigh.... How on earth does this work????

I'm back to say, I can see it both ways!!! YEA! I guess...I mean, what does that mean?? That's I'm both, or neither, or just confused...because that one would actually make quite a bit of sense.....

I am definitely logical by nature and she looks like she's going counter clockwise. I guess it must work! I'll have to ask my husband; he's definitely more creative than logical. We compliment each other well. :-)

Oh that is so weird! First I see it going clockwise and then I looked at it again and I could actually get it going counter clockwise. I guess I am more right brained than left brained with some sort of balance in between? *grin*

Hi Jen. I read your blog all the time, but have never posted a comment. Sorry, I'm not from the Dakotas. I see clockwise, and I've tried my best to see counter clockwise, but I just can't do it. I've tried closing one eye and then the other. Still, always clockwise.

I see it both ways. She'll be going clockwise and I'll look away, then she'll go counter. Weird.

OK...Shay & I almost came to blows....he sees clock wise & I see counter clock wise. Funny, I never would have figured myself for a "logical".

my brain???
ok, first she was going counter and now she is going clockwise.
did I jump from logical to creative? brain spasm? general mom confusion?

Hubby and I both saw her going clockwise, but if I look at just her legs I can see them going the other way.
You never fail to be intriguing!
She is alternating between clockwise and the reverse
If you look long enough (look carefully at just her foot to keep from being distracted) you will see that she goes clockwise for a period of time, and then counterclockwise for a period of time in a regular pattern. So we can all be creative and logical if patient!

I see both. First one way than the other way appears!

She definitely changes!! You just have to watch her legs for a bit ;)! It is supposed to be a trick I'm sure.

Most definitely counter clockwise here! Hmmm...I wonder if it is real...

Clockwise. I can't see it any other way either. And there's not a logical bone in my body.

She's dancing clockwise for me! Lol!
But your anonymous commenter was correct... she spins one way, then the other.
So after a moment...
She's dancing counter clockwise for me! Lol!

Clockwise
Clockwise, clockwise, clockwise, clockwise. No way could she be going counter-clockwise! Or is that just how my brain works too?
Hmm. My daughter sees her going clockwise, then switching to counter clockwise, then clockwise again. Strange!
All right, acting on the theory that each eye is operated from a different half of the brain, I covered my right eye, for a split second she went the other way. Then I tried covering my left eye, she went counter clockwise a little longer. Now that I've gotten my brain to "see" it, she is switching back and forth when I have both eyes open.

Ok, that's freaky!
No matter how hard I try, I can only see clockwise. I gotta go back and stare some more. 8-P

I don't even see how she could possibly be going counter-clockwise! Ask my DH, he'll tell you I'm not logical!
