Well, dear readers...if there are any of you left at this point...I am still alive and well, although without internet. But I was given a computer today and hopefully will be online soon. Until then, big thanks to my sister for letting me take advantage of her computer even though it has a left handed mouse that makes me crazy!!
I have a new job at a preschool/daycare. I am lead teacher in the 3-4 year old room and OH the stories I have to tell you!! I'm sure you can hardly imagine.
I will tide you over with this. My children have an unnatural aversion to underwear. They flat out refuse to wear it. This causes great pain to their grandmothers who apparently think that my children will die or become serial killers if they do not wear underwear. So my mother in law has instituted random underwear checks and if they are wearing underwear, they receive $1. This would be met with delight by any child, but particularly to Connor, who has another unfortunate trait -greediness. I will never forget the first time he sat in big church with me. When the usher handed him the offering plate his eyes tripled in size as he whispered a reverant "thank you'.
So last time he was preparing to go to his grandmothers house, I could only bury my head in my hands and chuckle as I watched him put on four pairs of underwear in the hopes of tricking her into having to pay him $4. She gave him two. One for having on underwear and one for creativity.

Alright, Jen! You always make me grin. Hope you can get back to regular posts soon! I'm sure you have so many wacky stories to tell from being a preschool teacher. I have the upmost regard for you. I taught preschoolers for a year and it was one of the hardest jobs I've ever had...that is, before I became a MOM!
