Hello. Well, we are now all sick except my sweet husband. Thankfully we seem to be in different stages of this thing. I coughed all night and feel like going back to bed, however, I am thankful for the strength that I need to keep going today for life must go on.
What life you ask? Well, I am babysitting today and tomorrow. Lessons will have to get done too, as we took yesterday off for a Christian service day. Tomorrow night we work in the nursery. The only thing that might be put off is visiting my grandma on Thursday. I so wanted to go see her again this week. Yesterday she was doing much better at cooperating with her therapy. We will go on Sunday regardless. It's Mother's Day after all!
I hope you all have a great day. I'll be watching a long movie this afternoon...
Don't you live about an hour south of me? Have you heard of any curriculum sales in your area? Do you have information to join any groups that would notify me of any upcoming sales?
Sending you HUGE cyber (((HUGS))) my SSiC. I wish I could bring you a big pot of chicken soup ! Enjoy you movie and let us know what it was. [0= I have to SCRUB my house. My older brother is coming to visit this Thursday. He and his friend will be staying for a week. Yes, I will still blog. [0;
I pray you feel better soon !!! And that your hubby stays well.
I have to confess a sick day sounds mighty good right now. Of course, it always does until you are the one who is sick :D
I'm sorry you are feeling poorly. I hope that cough goes away soon. I'm amazed that you are still going to be babysitting. I'm afraid I would be cancelling. I'm a big wimp when it comes to keeping kids.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that you all are sick! What happened to the teacher having a sick day - it sounds like you need to take a break this week and all regroup for a strong start on Monday. It's okay to have sick days you know. Don't push yourself too hard else we will have to get you a bed next to Grandma. Wishing you well!!! ((( hugs from a distance ))).
So sorry you are sick! Yuck. And praying that you turn the corner to wellness very soon. It's amazing how life does have to go on as Mothers even though we're sick. Shouldn't we be able to pull the covers over our heads and sleep until we're better?!
Hello. My name is Jenn and I am striving to be a servant of Jesus Christ. I am a wife of 13 years to my best friend and a stay at home mom of 3 wonderful home educated children ages 10, 8, 6 here in beautiful Central Indiana. Titus 2:5 says to older women that we are to teach younger women "to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God." This blog is my way of encouraging others to be Busy At Home.
