~ Ramblings of a Wii Addict ~

Hello Friends,

Like the rest of you, I've been a little busy with my real life to give my blog much attention since last Monday. Our Christmas plans went smoothly and we survived another year. I have to say I am very grateful for the many blessings my family received. I am always humbled by others generosity.

I have a ton of photos to share. Probably not going to put many on here as they would bore others to tears. How many pictures of cookies, excited kids, wrapping paper everywhere does one need to see?

I did get a splendid gift from my sweet husband. He got me a small digital picture frame! I can now watch my photos instead of wishing I had them printed out to see once in awhile. Very thoughtful gift, indeed!

The highlight of our Christmas has been our Wii. The five of us are hooked and will be entering rehab this spring when we actually have to go outside and do sports. I can see the kids now as I explain that they cannot take Wii Outdoor Adventure camping with us in June. Won't be pretty. I'll probably be the worst of them all. I love my Wii Fit!

I am working on my list of goals for 2009. Are you?

I have also been enjoying using Twitter to keep up with a few of you all. If you don't Twitter, you should look into it. It's like a giant cbox with all your friends leaving quick messages all day long. Fun, fun, fun! Oh, give it a try, please! And let me know when you sign up, OK? I am Jenn4him on Twitter, btw.

I am working on my goals for 2009 - I keep thinking about them in my head, but they haven't made it to the written page yet.

I have not even thought of goals until right this moment! However, one of my general goals has been to be good about exercise and my food intake as soon as the goodies disappear and the snow disappears.

Those Wii things are cool. I actually haven't used one, but I've watched others do so, and they look fun.

Oh, I'm so excited to see that I can read this NEW template, also. It's lovely. You are quite the template-change artist, indeed.

Twitter, twitter, twitter. What is so special about it? I saw JoAnn is there, too, and I see you just sort of say a line or two. That's about it. OK, OK, I suppose I can go check it out. But I"m on Facebook, too, and between that and blogging, and . . . well . . . I may just get "Twitter-pated" and end up being an addict. I dare NOT get a Wii. I've played one before and it was an awful lot of fun.

We won't be getting Wii Fit this year, but that's o.k. We have Wii sports to keep us busy, and Dance Praise 1 & 2. But Wii itself is so much fun, I agree completely.
I haven't started goals yet, but I guess I should. And yes, Twitter is just way too fun. :)

Did you see the news last week about the increased occurances of er visits due to the wii?! It was hilarious. Things like tennis elbow. I just shook my head (since I can't really imagine it having never seen one but only heard about them!).

And how bout that wind. Man! And it's still going strong this morning!

I've watched a demonstration of it!
I bought my in laws AND myself a digital picture frame.
I never print up any photos anymore...
since going digital.
It is nice to see your pictures on a screen.

Oh how we love our Wii too!! Yes, it is quite addicting though...we'll see you in rehab LOL! I admit my favorite on the Wii Sports is the golf, my husband and love competing on it, yep I'll pat myself on the back and say I usually win!!
