Lanolin does NOT taste good. Therefore, I strongly advise you not to taste it.

I decided to take a week off from blogging. Sorry I didn't warn you, it wasn't really planned.

We sheared the sheep yesterday. It took a few hours, but she's so much more comfortable. Sheep make an oil called lanolin. It's yellow and looks like earwax. And it tastes like earwax concentrate. So, yeah, don't go lick your hands after shearing a sheep, it doesn't taste very good.

Well, it's hot in here and I'm running out of things to say. I'm running out of brain cells, too, because Mom bought blueberry muffin mix. Guess what we had for breakfast? Well, it was good anyway.

Guess what I dreamt about last night? I don't have anything to give away right now, so I'll just congratulate you if you get it right. Maybe you'll get an invitation to come visit us or something.

Dearest Jenna,

Are you guys planning to spin and use the wool from the sheep? Lanolin is a very good skin softener. I bet it is hotter here! It is only suppose to get up to 98 today! Then back to triple digits the most of next week. I do hope our monsoons come soon, and bring lots of rain!!

How is Star doing? Is it more work than you thought it would be to have a horse? There must be a constant stream of chores to do with all that livestock.
