Happy 4th of July!

I forgot to tell you guys what I dreamed about. I dreamt about sheep. I'm guessing that's because I had just helped shear one. But last night I dreamed that Mom updated her blog... TWICE!

We went to our friends' house last night to watch fireworks. A church in Springfield called James River Assembly puts on this HUGE firework show and we can see it from our friends' house. So we were there 'til 9:00 or so. On the way there we blew a tire on the bus. Good thing we have dual tires. Anyway, we made it to our friends' and back home without a problem.

We had a quiet eveing, until the fireworks in the neighborhood started going off. Spartacus decided he was not amuxed by all the noise outside! He is not one bit afraid of loud noises, as our other dogs had been. Mimi used shake and try to hide in closets when she heard fireworks.

I could stand in the front yard and see some that were going off at the County Club nearby and at the Horse Racing Track.

Sounds like you had a good 4th of July. Do you miss my Traditional Watermelon Whale?

Well got to go mail your dad's birthday gift, I forgot the take the mailing label with me to the post office on Friday!! Oh well, it should get there on time anyhow.
