I love the pictures of the planets!!! And the the night sky goes great with it. But, reverse type (white or colored type on a black background) is more difficult to read for most people. Your eyes get more fatiqued for some reason with a black or darker background. The smaller sized red type, is harder to see, you might want to lighten the type color so there is more contrast with the black backgound. I don't mind reverse type, in print ads, it grabs people's attention more than a traditional black on white type of ads. If you use a black background then you have to use lighter colors so you have a good level of contrast for ease in reading. I do like the "night sky" effect, it is just harder to read.
