As of this coming Saturday, 5-17-08, I will be doing a 40 day media fast. You can leave me comments and messages that I will check again on 6-26-08. Thanks for understanding. This is something I have to do on my behalf. I am not myself lately and God has been calling me to do this fast for a few weeks. Also I am praying for the upcoming elections this 40 days and for America. Because us teenagers, my generation, this upcoming presidential election will affect us more than anyone. Believe it or not it will affect our future, our children, our ministries. So please for your sake pray for America and the elections! So please if you will, for those of you who pray, please pray for me. For strength mostly. You are more than welcome to fast with me also. You can fast whatever you want. Even if you don't do this fast, I encourage you to fast sometime! It really works.

God I pray for a great awakening in the youth of America! God I pray that we rise up as the army you have called us to be. God break our hearts and make us come running back to you. God you have danced with us, you have caressed us. Now you are pulling off the covers and exposing our nakedness. God I pray that we would come humbly before you with repentance and fasting and weeping and mourning. You are saying "Awake! Awake! Clothe yourself with strength!" Wake up generation! Wake up! For your very life wake up! Are we going to lie here and die in our sleep? Are we going to let others die in their sleep? No WAKE UP!! We are the watchmen on the wall like in Ezekiel. If we see war coming and don't warn the people, their blood is on our hands. But if we warn the people and they ignore it, then it's their iown fault. So warn the people generation!

I love the drama you are going to do with Josh Groban's song. Very powerful! Can you video tape it? Maybe put it on YouTube for all to see. :))

And the wind.....wind is amazing isnt it?! God did some neat thigns with it in His Word. It represents the Holy Spirit; when we stop and let the wind wrap around us as you did the other day, it's like being filled with the Spirit all over again. I'm interested in that scripture reference you mentioned. I have not read that the wind is from Gods treasures. Perhaps its a certain translation that uses this phrase. I'm going to keep looking for it, but if you run across it, let me know.

wow fasts sound kinda painful >.< i no they are probly good for you but not eating something for a few days i probly wouldnt b awake for most my fast lol the media fast i could do but i would b bored stiff good luck on yours tho

Jo Jo, I hate that I missed you before you began the fast. I always love hearing from you, and your commitment to the things of God at such a young age is inspiring. I will pray for your strength each time I think of you, because Satan works mightily during our times of sacrifice, but God is even mightier! May He bless you richly!
