Foolishness
I have been so foolish. I had been going my own way for so long, and then finally realized I needed to change something. I saw that I was doing wrong and i knew I broke his heart. But he told me if I had to, to run as fast as I could, but to prepared for him to stop me and for his love to break my fall. I needed my heart to break. I needed something. I told the Lord that I needed something to wake me up or something to tell me to do right. I got what I was searching for tonight. Acts 2. Acts 2 talks about prophesying and intercession and praying in the Holy Spirit. I could not be more thankful and heartbroken. It seriously woke me up. In Acts 2 it says this, "Peter said, 'Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized (woo!), each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (THIS IS MY FAVE PART!) The promise is targeted to you and YOUR CHILDREN, but also to all who are far away-whomever, in fact, our Master God invites." What then?! The Lord brought to my remembrance the generational curse that was broken while I was at camp. My mom and I had gone through a past of depression and suicidal thoughts. That night at camp the generational curse was broken! So not only are my future children freed from the generational curse of death, but the have the gift of the Holy Spirit! HOW AWESOME!!!! That is a very big part in what I am going to teach my children. They will grow up in the ways of the Lord and in His righteousness. Even now I have already given my children to the Lord. Like Sam said in his blog, they are God's anyway. I am just borrowing them to make sure they reach that destiny God has prepared for them. (Yes Sam, I am a word stealerer :-) ) Much loves! Guys I am totally serious, God is up to something. You can see it everyday in everything.
PRAY PRAY PRAY! I encourage everyone of you. I love you. And I don't just say that, I really mean that. I seriously love you!
