Yesterday Wilson was near tears b/c I started challenging him more. Not ALOT more, but more. And mathematics all tie together usually, so I was losing it and we stopped for the day.
Today we start with that same sheet--it was missing numbers like
___ + 3 = 10 or 5 + __ =17
He passed w/o missing 1 problem today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's all in his head! I don't see how teachers in PS deal with that.
Plus he did good with his phonics sheets and telling time sheets (to the minute), and he made a 90 on his spelling test. it was a good day! I so needed one after yesterday.
