Apr. 6, 2009 - Sliding Down, Down, Down Twirling in a Yellow Slide
A year ago our grandpa bought us the materials to make a really nice swing set and jungle gym. It had almost everything we wanted in a jungle gym, 3 swings, a tire swing, monkey bars, a pole and a slide. But we had also wanted a yellow twirly slide. Grandpa couldn't get it at the time but last month when we were at his house he told us that he was getting us a slide!
We had forgotten that we wanted a slide. We were content with our already wonderful play set. It was a surprise to hear that we would get a twirly slide. We began to get excited and began to ask when it would arrive.
In a little over a week it arrived! It came in a big box and we had to grab the dolly from the garage so the delivery man could push the box up to our garage.
It sat in our garage for a couple days then on Sunday (yesterday) Dad and my siblings put it together and mounted it on our play set.
Since it was put up yesterday we have been going up and down the slide. It is so fun. And tiring. (for me at least)

Aww that looks so fun!! Big yellow twirly slides are the best :) Must have been a great surprise!!
Oh and to answer your other question, it usually gets down to about 15 in the winter. Not too bad compared to some states.

Nice swing set! Looks like fun! We don't have one, but I think the fun would wear off after a while for us. Maybe not, I don't know. But it gets so hot here in the summer that it would be dangerous to play on!

Actually yes I have some sad news that I will probably post on my blog soon but anyway yesterday (sunday) we had to put down one of my 4 guinea pigs : ( She was slowly dying and it was hard to watch. My whole family was crying all day! So now I only have 3 guinea pigs and they dont all get along so one is alone.
I'm at my grandparents right now. They live in Duluth : ) I love it here! We are leaving tomorrow though. We just got here a couple hours earlyer.
Well thats enough of my life for now! I think I will retire to bed now!!

What fun - it looks like a nice set! My favorite part of our swing set is the gymnastic bar, even if I'm not that great on it. :o)
Once for April Fools (sorry I'm still replying to that!) I snuck away everybody's toothbrushes, put water in the toothbrush holder and froze there toothbrushes into there holder! hee hee Else we haven't done much. You?
