Nov. 7, 2009 - TX army base shooting

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to let ya all know to be praying.

In a Texas army base one of OUR men (and possibly a couple others) attacked and killed many.

I'm not sure what details are but I'm sure if you look on the news it won't be too hard to find.

So just be praying for everyone there and those who have loved ones there!

Nov. 3, 2009 - *News From A Land Far Far Away*~

Hello,

So for a long time I haven't really written anything really interesting so I thought

I would actually write something.

So for those of you who would like to see pictures of our trip I will post a few

on this post. YAY lol

And for those of you who have been reading my blog and just waiting for

me to actually say something interesting I think that the following might be

interesting enough for you...if not...I'm sorry. haha

I have another blog as some of you may know and it's for girls only. On there I

write bible studies and such. Well I was thinking that I should starting posting

whatever I post on there on here as well...but I will make them able to be read

by boys so all my guy friends on here may read as well. :)

So here is a post that I recently made on Self-control...I hope you like it!

"Then come together so that Satan will not tempt you

because of your lack of self-control."

Corinthians 7:5

Wow. Our lack of self-control? Ouch.

Do we really lack self-control, and if we do what areas of our lives

do we lack? We all lack some self-control sometimes. When your little

brother does something to annoy you

and you throw a fit calling him a jerk, I'd say that's lacking self-control.

When your team looses you start calling the other team cheaters and such

even though they didn't cheet.

Your just mad you lost and need to get it out, right?

Okay, so maybe you don't need to let it out like that. No calling names.

Counting to 10 helps a lot...seriously....it does.

Just take a second, sit down, breathe, and think about WHY you are frustrated.

Really, if you think about it, most of us lack a LOT of self-control.

How else could you respond to the situation?

Annoying little brother-

"Hey Joe that's really bothering me, could you stop or do it

somewhere else, please?"

You could also consider just moving yourself. Take turns. It doesn't

help you by getting worked up about something that could so easily be fixed.

Another thing you could think about is why does whatever hes doing annoy you?

Lost Game-

Just relax. Thats the key. Stay relaxed. I know I sound like some therapist or

something...but it's true!

If you handle things with anger and don't think, things may get worse than

they really need to.

Hurting other people isn't the answer either. If you are frustrated for a

good reason, such as they are hurting you, then talk to a grown up or elder or

go to the person directly and ask them nicely to stop. If things do not

end then it would be a good idea to ask for help from an elder you trust.

And everyone looses sometimes. People see a good sport when you are okay

with the loss and keep working hard to turn it into a win!

There are tons of things that we can get overly obsessed with and thats

something we need to be careful of and watch ourselves on.

In the first part of the verse it says " Come together".

What does that mean? And your reply is, "Well duh! It means come together,

am I right or am I right?"

Well yeah, your right. :) But lets look a little deaper into it, k?

If all of us lack self-control...what will "coming together" do?

Think of it this way-

Satan is this super big buff bad guy who is trying to prevent you

from getting somewhere and break you, mkay?

You trust God. You love God. But you have made some mistakes. Doesn't

sound like it will be too easy for you, now does it?

Now think of it this way-

Satan- big buff guy

You and a TON of other people- who are all followers of Christ! :D

It sounds like you got a lot better chance, doesn't it? Plus you all have

this SUPER AWESOME God to lead you!!

So when it says to come together it meens encourage, love, give advice,

take advice to the others around you. Sometimes it could be a little more

general. God calls us to come together to fight all the evil that is put

before us.

For a little more on the subject pick up your bible and look

up the following verses (feel free to do some of your own research)-

2 Peter 1:5-7

Galations 5:22-23

Please right down any thoughts that you have had along this read, or even

later on in the day! Also, we would love to see any verses that you might

have found while doing some studies. :)

Anyways...so thats it! Please let me know what you think. I am always open to

Oct. 26, 2009 - Angel Part 5

I fly away, after the others are out of my site I speed up, faster and faster, Longing to get this feeling out. How can I feel this? I’m flying away from my Creator…my brothers. And why, because they got in my way? How is that right, am I in the wrong, I need to go back. But how, how can I return now, now that I’ve left them. Everything within me is screaming at me telling to return to them to my Creator and my brothers. “Know that there is no darkness where I AM and I AM everywhere. You could see before you saw light because I AM here. No matter where you go I AM there and you will see” the words of my Creator ring again in my head. I must make it back to my Creator, how could I have left them I will never know. But it will not happen again. He is all that is in me, and I will serve Him however I can.

Racing faster than I have ever gone, with my mighty wings I scream over the sea. With every bit of strength I have I must make it back. “Wind please aid me in reaching the Creator, Please I must make it back to His side!” and with that the wind pulls back to throw all its power be hide me, pushing me forward helping me, For I was created first and I am over it and it will do as I say, the one who stand to the left of the Creator.

The sea beneath me sprays my face, cooling me in my great flight, trying to keep my strength up and endurance in tack. For it knows that the favor of the Creator lies with me. The sea along with the wind pushes me forward helping how they can and giving me great encouragement.

Why, why would I have done this, flying so far from He whom I love most? Putting this much distance in-between he and I was the worst thing I could have done. “Faster I must go faster! Lucifer move your wings, move Lucifer! I’m so slow!! I must push harder.”

There just ahead, I see them. They’re still where I left them standing there talking. Did they know I was gone? Have they even nosiest? They’re probably glad I left Gabriel probably set it up that way. He wanted me to leave so He could get closer to My Creator. Oh he will see that I am the best! They will know that I am the most favored by the Creator and that I am the one who will stand closest to Him.

This feeling…what is it? Why does it keep consuming me? What is wrong with me? This is not the Love of He who is My Creator…this can’t be something He would want in me. I must push it out. I cannot stand before Him like this; this is why I left in the first place. Why is it back? This will not help me serve Him. I am here to serve Him to the best that I can, and this feeling will just make it harder so I must get rid of it. It is not welcome within me. “Leave me!! I belong to the Creator and not to a feeling!!”

At that the Brothers in front of me turned around and look at me…Uriel fly’s over to me. His face with a great smile and that fear that he struck in me before is not there. His eyes are still flaming, but with a love that is burning out of him. “Brother,” Uriel said in deep loud and yet soft caring voice. “was your flight a good one? Come with me Lucifer; let us walk this great meadow our Creator has made” “No My Angels” the voice of the Creator ring out to us. “No, you will stay here for the time has come for Me to Create the rest of the Angels you will lead.”

As He was speaking the others came over and stood by Uriel and I, they heard the Creator and wanted to be with their Brothers to see this Creation. Gabriel and Sabbathiel came and stood on the right side of me. Raphael Flew over for the midst of a grove of exquisite flowers, and took his place on the left of Uriel.

Now the Creator moved away for His Angels a bit opened his mouth and sped his arms wide. As he did so a great wind came down from the heaven reaching over the sea whirling around the Creator, shredding through the trees and flowery meadows then ending in a whirlwind in front of the Angels, who were awestruck. There wavy flowing hair blow in all directions in this twister of glory. The wings on their backs were being wiped violently. There was so much glory in this wind more than ever Lucifer had ever felt before. With every passing monument the wind grow louder and more valiant, fill with even more glory. So much that the Angels started to squint, wanting to close their eyes but at the same time not wanting to stop looking at what was happening.

Then a small light was forming behind the Creator, now more small lights. Then in a flood of power, light blow out from the Creator in all directions. The Creator was speaking but the wind was too loud for anyone to hear what He was saying. The small lights began to grow and take form. And then everything stopped. No more wind, the light was no longer blinding and the words of the Creator were the only thing that was left on the air. “I give you your brothers and sisters.”

As our eyes took focus again, there all around us were a countless number of angels. Theses Angels were so different from one and other and at the same time it almost looked as a blur. Just moments after the words of the Creator fell away all the new Angels were on their knees, bowing before their Great Creator. As one voice we heard “Oh Creator, give us your commission. Tell us your will and we will see it done”

Looking around I see so many, an endless number. Just by looking I see that none are the size as us the Creators leaders, but still in this great multitude I see strength, power, speed, love, passion and I know that with these new Angels the work of the Great Creator will get done and done right, with so many how can we fail.

“Oh My Great Creator you have made such an army of Beautiful servants but what are we and they to do now? There are so very many of us but so far I haven’t seen any work for us to do. I can tell you that I am content with just walking your creation and talking with you. But seeing how great a host you have just made there must be something that you had in mind for us and them. So my Great Creator give Lucifer your leader the order and I will see it completed.”

The Creator looked down at Lucifer with a warm smile and in His eyes you could see that he had great love and hopes for Lucifer the leader of his angels. And yet there was another look in them. “My dear Lucifer be patient, I do love that you are eagerness to do my serves, but have no fear I will tell you what needs to be done when you need to know.” This thought never came into Lucifer’s mind, did he do something wrong? Has he not done enough for the Creator and now He doesn’t want him to know things ahead of time? What did he do, he didn’t know. “Lucifer, don’t worry you have done nothing wrong you just need to learn that when it comes to my will I shall tell you when you need to know. The plans I have for you will come at my time not yours, it’s great that you seek to do what I want now you need to seek to do it when I say.”

Lucifer thought about what His Creator had said and felt a little better but there was still something there, he thought to himself, “never again will I fail Him like that, I will show Him that I am worthy of His work and more I’ll show that He can and should trust me with His plans before I need to do them, He will see that I am the best Angel and I should be in on all the things He has planed.” With that Luciferbowed and said, “I will do what I can to learn what you have said, I’ll be better soon and will make you proud.” “Oh Lucifer, I am proud of you, you don’t need to show me anything, just learn what patient is and you will have come far”

“Now my Angels, take time now to talk with each other. Young ones meet your elders, elders look on and see you new brothers and sisters. Tomorrow my creation will continue.” So the older angels separated and large groups of the young ones gathered around them. No group was as large as the one that gathered around Lucifer. All thought that Lucifer was the wisest; after all he was the Creators first creation.

Yes, so it's been a while and most of you think I've joined FaceBook (but I haven't! Huzzah for me!). Life's been busy (when is it NOT?) and PLLM is on a roll and this week is our first PLLDiscipleship Group! I'm a little nervous, but I think it'll go smoothly...if you ever try contacting me on HSB, it may be faster to just drop me a comment on PLLM's site instead as I check that one more often than this one....
