May. 16, 2008 - Okey Dokey Y'all
Alrighty now. Two newsflashes: # 1: I'm takin' over the world you all! And # 2: Starling (link is my last entry) is my partner! So you all better watch what you say to us future world leaders, you don't want to get on our bad side. Okay? Okay.
More news: I am almost ready for my trip! We only need a few extra things. Boot polish (mink oil), lightweight clothes (it will be hot), sleeping bag, sleeping mattress thing (friend is getting that: Thank you Chuck!), liquid bandaids, a watch, a million Ziploc bags, bugspray, Malaria meds, headlamp, two in one shampoo, baby wipes, pillow (thank you Chuck!), extra pairs of contact lenses, contact solution, journal, Ivory soap.... There's more I'm sure...Oh yeah and spending money (they say $50 a week or it will be gone like *snap*, uh, for 7 weeks... $350). Well I'm doing good.... Still 5 weeks until I leave... Wow I didn't realize it was so close! Ooh I'm gonna miss everyone while I'm gone. Oh yeah, postcards, too. Better bring a few pens along! Maybe I could write a letter for my sister to post on my blog while I'm gone! Wow that was a flash of my inner genius right there... The one that's takin' over the world. Well I gotta go, it just happens to be 3:52 AM here in East Tennessee. Nighty night! *ahem* I mean good morning! Btw, Moosey Moo says "Hi!" to all his fans... ;) (He doesn't know that there aren't any yet. Here's a pic, kinda dim 'cause I took it with my cell just now) (PS: Y'all are putting out heroic effort on part of the comments, great job!)
