Dec. 13, 2008 - I'm back!... A long time ago....
Hey y'all!
Sorry I haven't been on HSB much lol... I have a Facebook too. =) But I hope to be on more now, so don't worry. ;) So... My trip was amazing! First of all I had ten amazing team members! In order of countdown: Sam, Emily, Daniel, Me, Oren, Mariah, James, Katie, Bo, and Nicole! Not to mention our fantastic leaders, Dave and Vanja Cochrane (and their kids Sammy and Jazzy), Jay, Shannon, and Susie! I grew very close to them all this summer and I miss them all very much! I'm pretty sure all my family and friends are tired of me talking about them. =)
Bootcamp. Um... Think Florida in July... With a few tons of mosquitos on top... And wet tents... And the scent of Goldbond. That should do it. Any corrections, just comment!
Bootcamp was Awesome! Two weeks of torture... I mean fun! =) I got used to the humidity pretty quickly, but the mosquitos were TERRIBLE. I'm actually surprised I didn't die of DEET overdose! haha. But seriously. I learned a lot at Bootcamp. Puppets, drama, music.... How to remove two inches of water from a tent in the dark... Mad skillz y'all! :) We learned how to put together presentations (although our first one probably wasn't so amazing). Also... We got to know each other and learned how to work together. Which was the best part! =)
Hm, well, I really must go for now. Sorry about the lack of skills in the writing department!!
