Mar. 20, 2008 - Hi!

Hey I'm still alive! ;) Thanks for the comments, too! Just wanted to tell everyone what I've been doing lately...
I'm going on a mission trip to...*drumroll* the Amazon River! I've been trying to raise some money (It's  $3,590), but I've only got, um, $1,100.  I'm just giving it to God, nothing I can do about it now! Well I wish I could look at everyone's blogs but my sisters are kicking me off. :( Talk to y'all later!

Jan. 14, 2008 - Aquarium!

Hello, I'm still alive! Thanks for the comment, Sami!  On Saturday the cast of our church Christmas play went to the Tennessee Aquarium, in Chattanooga. Since I was Barbara Booster, President of the chamber of Commerce, I went along. It was a lot of fun!  My favorite part was the PENGUINS!! They were showing off for the crowd and jumping in the air from the water. They are so fast! They were shooting from one end of the tank to the other, bubbles trailing behind them and floating to the top. I love bubbles. I'm ok... Well, I better go.

4. Only in America ......do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

5. Only in America ......do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

6. Only in America ......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

7. Only in America ......do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.

8. Only in America ......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

9. Only in America ......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

Nov. 24, 2007 - Yay Turkey!

Hmm, I haven't been on in a while. Thanks for the comments, and I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I did! It's hard to post after a holiday because everyone expects you to post about what you did. We stayed home and made turkey!  And mashed potatoes, broccoli (yum!), sweet potato-cranberry crumble, and of course, pumpkin pie. No disasters or anything! Except the mashed potatoes, they were slightly overdone. The recipe said crock pot for ten hours and they were in for nine, so it wasn't us!
On Friday we went to jesusfreakjess' house and had another dinner, and that was fun. I made broccoli and rice casserole, but the onions were crunchy. I didn't know how long to saute  them. Why me? Autumn made a delicious sweet potato pie. Lots of broccoli and sweet potatoes.... The point is, I had a great Thanksgiving and I hope you did, too.

Nov. 8, 2007 - Wrong

Well, I was wrong. Those books only lasted me four days! So lets go get more! I live off books. And ( O Joy! O Ecstasy!) chocolate, of which is growing more abundant as we near the holiday season. Which leads to the topic of Christmas music. One of our local radio stations in now playing solid Christmas music! It started immediately after Halloween. We usually don't start listening to Christmas music until after thanksgiving. But I'm not going to argue.  Yesterday my whole family was consumed in the task of removing all objects of use from our mobile home (of which is directly across the property from our house) so we may dismantle it, to construct a garage there. It was fun! We also  cleaved logs to  answer the call of our wood stove. The weather is starting to cool down. Well, I must take leave of the fair Mac laptop. It is very hot. Farewell!

Nov. 2, 2007 - Fruit and Berry Farm and McKay's

Today we went to the fruit and berry farm! We went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch and got pumpkins, although we didn't need them... And we fed the goats. When it was over the whole group (it was a homeschool field trip) had a picnic. At the little store they have, they sell these delicious fruit pies... I had half a blackberry and half an apple. The blackberry was the best...
Afterwards we went to McKay's used book store and gave them a bunch of books. We also bought quite a few. I got two Series of Unfortunate Events books, # 7 and # 8, and two Roald Dahl books, even though they are really short,  only a couple hundred pages. But I love his writing, it's really funny!
Right now I'm reading The Somebodies by N. E. Bode. It's the third in a series. The first two are The Anybodies and The Nobodies. The whole series is extremely interesting and funny, in my opinion. I can barely put the book down! Except to blog, of course. :)  I am hugely, intensely delighted this evening, on account of all the books we got today! For the 10 or 11 we got, I shall be entertained for about a week! Though I shall have to pause my copious reading to do my school. I feel extremely 'vocabulary' this evening. But I must absent myself in honor of my brothers wishes to acquire use of the computer. Farewell, O friendliest of bloggers!

Oct. 30, 2007 - Pictures

I added some pictures to my account on photobucket. To see them, just click here TotallyJesusFreaked
The paintings are the murals dad painted. We took pictures because they wanted something else ( they keep changing their minds), so we are painting over them. :( The one with the heart and m&ms is a collage I made this morning. And then the other ones are just random pictures.
It is hard to think of writing a post when you are watching a Zorro movie, and I have to make bread, so talk to you later!

Oct. 22, 2007 - Picture Link

Since I can't get pictures on my blog, I decided to create a photobucket.com account, put a link to it on my blog page, and tell y'all whenever I put more pictures on it. The ones I have on there now are just a bunch of random pictures. The Pensacola Museum of Aviation was about a month ago, and the rest were just over the summer. My camera is broken, and I don't like my sister's camera, so I haven't taken many recent pictures. *sigh* It will probably cost quite a bit to fix, too.
Well, since I don't have anything else to type about, I will go Random Blogging. Ttyl!

Oct. 18, 2007 - Bored, thus Boring.

Well, I was going to put up some pictures, but it's not working for some reason. That seems to happen a lot.
I just finished listening to a reading of Pride and Prejudice, and since it took a few days, I haven't been bored for a while... And now I am quite at a loss of what to do with myself. More reading,  I suppose, although the weather is very nice. Maybe I should go for a walk, or some such ladylike thing. Practicing piano?
Or a Christmas play. I am in our churches children's church play (I'm not in children's church,) and I have to sing!  A duet. *sigh* I'm really no good at singing.
Moving on, tomorrow we are going to one of our friends house and having a tortilla making party! I love homemade tortillas! Quite delicious.
 Anyhoo, I must go now.
   Willow
P.S. This is an extremely boring entry.

Oct. 10, 2007 - Yay!

Check out what I did to my weblog title!  It took half an hour and a lot of patience, and it's probably the most tech-savvy thing I've ever done! Other than figure out how to copy and paste on a Mac. Whew!  I have to go to Youth now, Ttyl!

Oct. 1, 2007 - Thanks!

Thanks to bookworm12 and JesusFreakJess for the awards!  And I finally got the rockin' girl blogger award to work... :)
I was trying to put up some pictures, but I can't get it to work... :(
Dad is watching a depressing WWI show on TV, and it's really sad. It's talking about people dying and how they died and showing pictures of people frozen or shot.  I do not like studying  the war, but that is all we've been thinking about lately! AND I had to read All Quiet On The Western Front! That one made me cry, especially after he got leave and went home for a few days...*sigh*
Anyway, on a lighter note, today I went to our homeschool baseball get-together. I really didn't play, I just talked with my best friend Jessica, and my sister(of whom I was going to post a picture, but it wouldn't  work).
Then we went in the park and goofed off until we had to go to piano lessons.
Before that we went to the library, and got more books. Our library's computer system is messed up! Today they were saying we hadn't turned in books from a few months ago, and things like that.
Well, Dad says i must go to bed.

Once upon a time there was an awesome guitarist named Gary. Gary was amazing, he could play any song you can think of. Well, like any awesome guitarist Gary started a band called Gary’s Band. After a while they weren’t getting any gig and such until one day they got a phone call. It was a friend of Matt Thiessen from Relient K who had heard them one time when Gary's band was playing at a youth function. They were blown away when he told them that he thought they were good enough to go on tour with the group. With the guys in Gary's band ecstatic to be playing with such an awesome group as Relient K, they packed up and took off to California. While on the way to California it began to rain heavily. Gary began to worry they wouldn't make it to California to play! So they just sat, somberly, looking out of the windows. Then things started to get worse.  First off, the rain wasn't rain at all, Gary saw when he looked harder. It was hail. And as he looked, the hail began to grow larger. Soon it was the size of ping-pong-balls! "We got to stop!" Matt Thiessen yelled back from the steering weal.  They pulled off at the nearest exit and tried to get their bus under the shelter of the gas station.  Now they were going to be late to play in California! Just then Gary's cell phone rang. It was Oprah, saying they had won a red ferrari, and to come claim it A.S.A.P.

I'm gonna tag ChickenGirl, BroccoliDude, Jemma, musicfreak, onedaymore, cheekymonkey, and IceJet.

I work with my dad, who is an airbrush artist, and the other day I bought this shirt from him...

Awesome, huh? Well I have to go now. Ttyl!

Jun. 28, 2007 - I'm crying again...

Thank you for praying.

He died yesterday morning.... He was never really alive, they just brought him back enough to be alive for awhile.  We all met last night for youth, but all we did was cry and tell stories about him. Like how excited he was for VBS this year, and for the mission trip the youth group is doing this summer... How much he loved music ( Vioce of Truth was his favorite song; I have it in my music player on the sidebar), and would always turn on the radio whenever he was in the car and start singing. How much he loved coming to youth and being with all of us, how energetic he was. He was always talking about his future, he always said living with his girlfriend for the rest of his life. He was getting ready for college in a couple of months... I'm crying again.

He would always call his girlfriend to tell her good-night, and every time he would tell her he loved her before hanging up. He loved her sooo much! We really need to pray for her and his younger brother, and everone in the youth group. The whole church. Nothing like this has ever happened in this church. Again, thank you for praying.
