Preparation

Posted in Homeschooling
I have a problem with being obsessive/compulsive.  So, when I realized we would be homeschooling for sure and for certain, I threw myself into the job of researching.  In two months, I'd read five homeschooling, read countless websites, joined a homeschool support group, attended meetings, went to a homeschooling conference and book fair, and met, emailed, called, and generally harassed numerous homeschooling moms.  I almost feel like a professional and we haven't even begun yet!  I can't wait for September 6th!

I, personally, think that's the BEST way to learn about something, even homeschooling--read, read and read some more! Then you at least have a good 'feel' for all kinds of topics, it gives me a great 'base' it seems!! By the way, your blog site looks great--catchy!!
