This and that
Intent's reminder about gentle mercy bathed my detail-filled soul today.  Be sure to click on her link in the entry and skim to read about her parents' care for foster babies.  I found it inspiring and refreshing.

Especially because at Sonlight Forums I am currently discussing The Exorcism of Emily Rose.  Can't resist a lively discourse on Christians engaging in the cultural conversation through story-telling even in the horror genre, after all.

Even when life is full and needy, God's touches are seen.  Its easier in the nature of the Sierra Foothills to see it, for our family anyway.  This year the robins built their nest within an arm's length of Pink Dancer's bedroom window.  Each night at bedtime, thanks to daylight savings, she and I watch the nurturing pair and Pink Dancer sings them a made-up song.  Another soul bathing moment.

And now, let the wild rumpus start.

What lovely writing. And, did you notice that she goes to the same church as Donald Blue-Like-Jazz Miller. Cool world.

Emilie Rose was a movie that My Sweet and I got into great, deep converstaions about. Especially he comes from a culture that readily believs in ghosts, but has a bit of difficulty letting the Holy Spirit work in us.

Thank you so much for the nice link. :)

I'm a detail-person too - and looking for those "God-moments" keeps me going.

*love* the quote at the top of your blog.

God bless.
