• Jun. 15, 2007 - New to Blogging

Hey all, I am new to blogging. I have been home schooling for 16 years now and some friends here where I live have suggested I start a blog. So here I am with my first entry. I am looking forward to getting to know you all. But I wish I understood how this whole thing works. Hope you all find me out here in "blog-asphere" Julie

I'm a newbie, too, and welcome to HSB! It doesn't take long to get going. Hint: Comment and post on lots of folks blogs. They'll come back at you, and soon you'll meet all sorts of people. I've homeschooled for 20 years, so we're sort of Old-Timers, wouldn't you say?
Every Friday is Show and Tell Friday. If you go to my blog (click on my name), I have the link to Canadagirl, who sort of organizes the Show and Tells. Nice to meet you!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. That is the best way to meet people and make friends. I am glad that you like my template. I cannot take a bit of credit for it. It was a gift to me from a fellow blogger. I think as you get used to blogging and looking at your template, it is easier to get brave and start adding things. Do you know how to add photos yet? That is where I'd start. Also, the prettiest blog in the world is not always the best! It is the content that counts most of all.
Your friend,
Jenn

I am not a home schooler - my daughter is and I admire all who have accepted this challenge with dedication and love. Your blog about loving like Jesus really touched my heart. We try so hard to see others through His eyes, but too often "self" blinds us to this. Thank you for your beautiful writing and for tugging at my heart to remind me how to love as I begin this new day.
