If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of tax dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word "advice" would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had created the position of 32 Czars who reported directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America , would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush held a press conference and banned a network from attending would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had travelled to Denmark to try to bring the Olympics to the United States while decisions needed to be made about Afghanistan would you have accused him of ignoring our children who are dieing over there?

If George W. Bush had made the rounds appearing on every TV talk show that would invite him to show up, would you have said he was wasting time he could be using to advantage in the Oval Office?

Does Obama even know where the Oval Office is?

So, tell me again, what is it about the Big O that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this and more in just 8 months in office -- so you'll now have three years and less than one month to come up with an answer.

This week's topic is clouds. It is raining outside and has been raining all day. We had to feed the horses today ( we volunteer at a horse farm to feed them Wed. and Thurs. mornings) and it was cold.....wet.....and muddy.....*sigh*!

Anywho....on to the pictures....

Picture #1 - cirrus clouds are also called "mare's tails" because of the wispy shape. When seen, it usually symbolises that it might turn stormy but can also be remnants of a hurricane or typhoon.

Picture #2 - Cumulonimbus clouds are also known as "anvil clouds" because of their anvil-shaped tops. They usually mean either rain or a thunderstorm is coming.

Picture #3 - Mammatus clouds come from the Latin word mamma meaning breast because of their shape. They always mean a gale is coming and that there is a serious risk of tornadoes.

I ran a 5k (3 mile) race this morning. Now I'm sore. I ran it in 32 minutes and I ran with a cold. Martha is sorer though. Well that's all for now.

This Week's Topic is....."Bizarre and Thought-To-Be-Extinct Sea Creatures"

Okay...I am making some changes...from now on I will probably only be updating once a week...unless something important pops up and I want to tell y'all or cases of emergancy...etc.! I don't want y'all to think I'm ingnoring y'all... You can still chat on my chat box and PM me and stuff like that cause I will be on my blog just not updating it as much. Anywho...The Topic of the Week is (like the title)

"BIZARRE AND THOUGHT-TO-BE-EXTINCT SEA CREATURES"!!!

The 1st picture is a COELACANTH (sea-luh-can-th). This UGLY looking fish was actually scientifically pronounced to be extinct....it lived during the time of the dinosaurs.....untill a fisherman "happened" to catch a dead one somewhere and after doing a check, found a whole bunch of them living in the Indian Ocean!

The next picture is a MEGAMOUTH SHARK (y'all should be able to pronounce that). Not much to say about this one except that this also lived during the dinosaur time-period and was (I think) also thought to be extinct....personally I think it's kinda cute lookin'.

And last but not least.... we have the GOBLIN SHARK! Now is it just me or is this, like, the UGLIEST and WIERDEST looking thing ever??!! I picked this particular shark because I had never seen a picture of it...except in a book once. It lives (again, I think) way down in the pitch-black ocean part.

Okay.... updating finally! We are painting my sister, Martha's room and I have a sore throat and I had to work today and yesterday afternoon and I had to babysit for about 10 hours Tuesday and Wednesday put together and I've done school and I made cookies today and and and I ran out of things to say just now.....oh well on to business.

Oh man.... how or where do I start? Everything was so great! I met great friends and the music was really good. I did the choir and nothing else. I made some really good girlfriends and some really good guyfriends. The dorms, though, were another matter. At first they were nasty. We thought we had mice and not to mention we found six or seven HUGE spiders in the dorms. But in the end... they served us well. The final performances went really well. Except for at the end we all had to redo some of it because they were filming it. I had a solo in Amazing Grace and then the next verse was a trio with two of my sisters. I sang alto, Martha sang soprano, and Tallulah sang 2nd soprano. There was one group of kids there that were really flirty and unpure. But everyone else was nice. Leaving was sooooooo hard! It was like leaving family! Well that's all for now.
