Dec. 12, 2007 - Perfect Square Poem
Chloe has been working on multiplication. If anyone has any tips for getting this mastered, please let me know!
In the meantime, we're putting some counting to song. For instance, counting by 4's up to 40 we sing to the tune of "Yankee Doodle". We sing counting by 7's up to 70 to the tune "Twinkle Little Star".
For counting by perfect squares up to 100, we've put it to a poem:
1,4,9
I would like to dine
16, 25
In a big beehive.
36, 49
I would not even whine
64, 81
When I get stung on my bun
100 times!!!!!

at Marilyn's site about your favorite Christmas memories. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom and I definitely laughed when I read about the dog and the ham. My dh would have had a FIT! lol
I am encouraged by the ideas of new traditions. We need some. Do you buy the gingerbread house kits? I'm thinking of picking one up since we're traveling for Christmas. I think it'd be easier with two 5 yo's and a 9yo. What do you think?
