Assignment: To pray for 3 bloggers.
I have really enjoyed this assignment! I think we can all agree on the power of prayer. I got started on the assignmet a day or two late because I was praying about which 3 God might have me choose. Meanwhile, I had someone leave me a comment that they had chosen me as one of their 3 to pray for! You know what I did? I rushed right over to their blog and gave a specific need of prayer.
Then I informed my 3 that I was praying for each of them. All 3 of them came to me with specific requests as well. What comfort we all feel to know that someone is praying for us.
All 3 of the ones I chose to pray for are all in great need of prayer. But you know what? Even if I had no idea of their needs, God does. What an amazing week of prayer! Thank you ,Tamara, for the assignment!
Also, 3 ways to show love to friends or neighbors:
1) Remember special dates (birthdays, or even times of year that are difficult for one reason or another)
2) Babysit your friend's kids so she can run errands or go out with hubby (hers, not yours!)
3) Pray. And let them know you're praying.
