Nov. 19, 2007 - More Giving Thanks!
Today I am thankful for...
My COMPUTER! I love how it links me to my friends and family near and far! I love that I can use it to be creative, to "chat" with my brother or sister, I can listen to music, see cool videos, etc.,! Sometimes I feel like when my kids are sick, and I don't get out for DAYS in a row, that the computer is my only link to the "outside" world! One of my friends' moms sends me comics each day, and usually I get at least one chuckle out of it. I am thankful for her too!
We have had a good week, being busy getting photos taken of my DS (5 years!), and working on our Thanksgiving Lapbook. It is going to be a HUGE one! We have enjoyed learning about the pilgrims and a lot of the history of the Mayflower, etc., I love homeschooling! It is so nice to be flexible! I am SOO glad that I have my kids home with me! (most days anyway!)
Yesterday at church, we had our Thanksgiving service. It is a neat service because members of the congregation can stand and say what they are thankful for. I stood and talked about the prayers that were lifted for me this fall, and how they helped me so much, I have had the best fall this year than I've had a a long time! I've struggled with depression since 2001, and I have felt good this year, finally! Thank you Lord!
