Jun. 27, 2008 - Melting my heart....
This morning,I was giving T his liquid baby vitamins while he was laying down on the changing table....something I do every morning. His older brother, C, happened to be in the room playing and was watching very intently. When he saw me putting drops of "something" into his baby brother's mouth, he pushed a chair up to the table, climbed up, put his cheek against T's and then rested his hand on his forehead. I was amazed and my heart melted. This simple act of brotherly love from our 2 year old brought me to tears. So many times I can remember our oldest son, O, who is now 4 doing the very same thing with C as a baby. O always wanted to comfort his baby brother when he was getting his medicine or we were needing to use the suction machine on him. And anytime he knew we were giving C his meds, he'd come running down the hall to put his cheek against his brothers and rest his hand upon his forehead.

How sweet! It's great to capture those moments between brothers. It's rare to see anymore between my three sons because of their age, but there are times when they show they care. (when they are not agravating one another) :)
