• May. 10, 2007 - Dancing Horse - My right thumb
My children loved watching this dancing horse.

I did something very stupid yesterday..... It was a horrible accident, I stabbed my right thumb with a very sharp, brand new knife. It went in hard and fast and hit the bone. It is deep and sore and probably needs stitching but I finally got the bleeding to stop and it has a very special dressing on it that I can not touch for a week. It sticks out like a sore thumb (ha ha) and so I have to keep it still as much as possible to avoid bumping it on everything. Why is it that not having the use of this digit makes me feel like I am all thumbs? I had a terrible night, the painkillers don't work and I had to keep lying so that I didn't bump it or so that my wonderful A didn't. Don't worry, I am watching to make sure there is no infection.... but it will be a few days before I will be comfortable typing. This already took too long and I am cramping so this is it for today. |

I stumbled onto your blog this morning and read the last two posting of passover pictures--how beautiful and surreal! To be where Jesus was! That is a dream of mine to travel there. And the mosaics in the ruins, it takes my breathe away just thinking how old and awesome they are. Thank you for sharing those photos and I will return later to read all you blog.
