John Eight Thirty Two

• Nov. 17, 2007 - More Fun on our trip!

After the 3rd meeting place we went to and our little boy saw our photo on yet another noticeboard he said, "Mommy, we must be FAMOUS!"

It is the best thing knowing that people are praying for us. Words do not express gratitude enough!
After expecting to speak at yet another meeting one evening, we were very pleasantly surprised to realise that we were being taken instead to a Fireworks display. It was in honour of Guy Fawkes night.

The display was set to music and co-ordinated. Very well done! I am thankful for the borrowed camera and my wonderful photographer always does an amazing job. These fireworks are nothing and I mean nothing like the ugly noisemaking ones we are 'treated' to here every night at all hours. The other thing that was totally amazing to us was the TENS OF THOUSANDS of people in the crowd all standing calmly and queueing up. Nobody shoving or pushing or getting aggressive. Seriously, it was a new experience for us.

They are beautiful pictures. Those are the kinds of fireworks we have out here on the 4th of July. You do have an excellent photographer. ;)

And how sweet to have so many praying for you! I love when there's a picture. Makes it feel more personal to pray...
