• Mar. 19, 2008 - I have had it with topsy turvy cakes

I owe you all an update, but it will have to wait until I have more energy. I have been going cake-crazy (in case you didn't notice

). I don't know when the next one will be and I am going to slow down in offering my services because a) it is costly and b) it is time-consuming. As this is a homeschooling blog site I do have to say that working on cakes with my children sitting around me is just the best feeling. We have the best discussions and I am right there to help them with the bookwork problems as they arise.
Without further ado here is the latest cake.

Yum that cake looks so good. Is it chocolate? I love doing projects with my kids and having them close to me when they can't help me. It is amazing how much they learn.

It is a beautiful cake. You do such beautiful work. But I can understand wanting to slow down on them a bit. They do look like it takes you a lot of time. :)

O.K. you are cracking me up with the whole play on words! chickens are indeed foul. especially that rooster! if i truly did not love the sound of his cock a doodle doo, he would have been dinner a long time ago! and i love the cake! if i thought i could get one to my house in ohio before some dreadful thing happened to it, i would order one. it is lovely. Oh That looks so yummy, I can smell the chocolate! If that is the last one for awhile it was worth it I am sur. I always loved the spontaneous conversations I had with my children.
