John Eight Thirty Two

• May. 22, 2008 - back again.....

The time is just flying by isn't it? I know I have basically dropped off of the blogging planet; life has taken over. I am undecided about staying away permanently, moving to a different blogging site or just popping in and out of this blog when I can...... The truth is that I feel very guilty about not being able to read other blogs and then leave comments. I also prefer something interactive where there can be an ongoing commentary or discussion.... anyway I am just rambling. It is late, I am tired and have been incredibly busy all day in preparation for tomorrow. I have guests coming to stay for a week.
I have been baking.... and my children have been taking photos so here goes....

Lemon cookies (we call them biscuits!)

I am really posting this photo for my daughter's sake, she has been very creative with her picture taking.....

I had another order for a cake. This time it was Dora the Explorer...

To be honest, I know NOTHING about this character...

I did enjoy the challenge.....

Those flowers at the bottom spell the girl's name. Nope, not in English. Any guesses what her name is?

All of it looks so yummy. You do such a beautiful job on cakes. Please don't leave us here, we would miss you terribly. Though seeing you at the homeschool lounge would be fun. You can still stay here though too. :)

Totally amazing cake--as usual--and your daughter did a great job with her pictures.

I don't really notice your silences in the silence of my own blog. Blogging shouldn't be yet another point of guilt in our lives. Just write when you can, comment if you can, and keep living life.

I learned a long time ago that sometimes you get to be the visitor and other times the hostess. you are in the hostess season. We love coming by and having tea and cookies with you.
