Apr. 19, 2008 ".....AND the PULPITS ARE SILENT"
"...AND the PULPITS ARE SILENT"
-by Coach Dave Daubenmire.
[Mar 6 - NewsWithViews.com]
"For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as
he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. As a
cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore
they are become great, and waxen rich. They are waxen fat, they
shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not
the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the
right of the needy do they not judge. Shall I not visit for these
things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a
nation as this?" - Jeremiah 5:26-31.
Despite what the political parties would like you to believe, the
problem in America is not the politicians, it is the pulpits. I hate to
break the news to you, but most of America's pulpits are filled with
cowardly men. They are a shame to the Christ they claim to serve.
Harsh words, aren't they? Not the type of thing that will make any
friends in this "cheap-Grace" culture in which we live. But that's
okay. I'm not looking to make friends.
I am about fed-up with what I see. How did we ever get such man-
pleasing leaders? All that our fore-fathers held dear is being
destroyed before our very eyes and hardly a peep from the pulpit.
They don't want to hear it. It's the pulpiteers that I am talking about.
They are concerned with being too harsh, they tell me that "Jesus
is in control," that they are not "called" to fight evil and that "we
should pray for our enemies."
Where have these guys come from? What we need is a return of
the Voice of God thundering through the prophets standing in
America's pulpits. Not the prissy Purpose Driven drivel passing as
the Gospel today. The feminized-preachers of today cannot hold a
candle to those who ushered in The Great Awakening which led to
the American Revolution, and the abolition of slavery -- two world-
changing events spearheaded by the pulpit.
Listen to the message of America's premiere preachers today.
Rick Warren and his Purpose Driven Life have infiltrated the
Church. Over 400,000 pastors have attended his conferences and
over 40 million of his books have been sold. Wikipedia tells us
"Since September 2002, over 30,000 congregations, corporations,
and sports teams across the United States have participated in a
"40 Days of Purpose" emphasis. A May 2005 survey of American
pastors and ministers conducted by George Barna asked
Christian leaders to identify what books were the most influential
on their lives and ministries." The Purpose Driven Life was the
most frequent response. Today's Christians are more familiar with
the words of Warren than the Words of Jesus. Thousands of
America's churches have used it in their Bible Studies and
thousands of preachers preach Warren's message.
Joel Osteen was voted Most Influential Christian in 2006. His
preaching style focuses on "the goodness of God rather than sin."
He is a self-described "Life-coach" and "thinks that there are
probably others better qualified, or more gifted for explaining Bible
verses. Osteen explains that he tries to teach Biblical principles in
a simple way, emphasizing the power of love and a positive
attitude." Wikipedia. "Presently, Osteen and several Lakewood
Church team members travel across the nation, presenting
programs in large stadiums to a paying public." He has sold
millions of books to millions of feel-good Christians. Watch this.
While our nation is killing babies, our schools are indoctrinating
Christian-kids in Secular Humanism, and "Truth has fallen in the
streets," our preachers are attending church-growth seminars,
using 'self-help" books to supplement the Bible, and chasing after
the butts and bucks. They are fiddling while the nation burns,
building their church rather than Christ's Kingdom.
Public schools are destroying the faith of Christian children and
the pulpits are silent.
Legislation is introduced to remove the rights of parents and the
pulpits are silent.
Children are taught they came from apes and the pulpits are silent.
Millions of children are "medicated" to control their behavior and
the pulpits are silent.
Gambling is promoted to pay for schools and the pulpit is silent.
Precious babies are being murdered in the womb and the pulpits are
silent.
Planned Parenthood kills babies with our tax dollars and the
pulpits are silent.
Judges make laws and the pulpits are silent.
Tolerance trumps Truth and the pulpits are silent.
Sodomy is granted legal protection and the pulpits are silent.
The institution of marriage is crumbling and the pulpits are silent.
Obama says the Sermon on the Mount justifies gay marriage and
the pulpits are silent.
Government has replaced God as defender and provider and the
pulpits are silent.
Faith-based initiatives invite the government into the Church and
the pulpits are silent.
The IRS muzzles the voice of the Church and the pulpits are silent.
Taxes are levied to do the work of the Church and the pulpits are
silent.
The Church locks arms with compassionate-conservativism and
the pulpits are silent.
Children's service agencies separate family members and the
pulpits are silent.
Self-help books replace the Bible and the pulpits are silent.
A Purpose Driven Life is elevated above dying to self and the
pulpits are silent.
G.W. Bush says Christians and Muslims worship the same God
and the pulpits are silent.
The Constitution is ignored and the pulpits are silent.
Pagans pray to open a session of Congress and the pulpits are silent.
Our elected officials lie and steal and the pulpits are silent.
Private property is stolen by government and the pulpits are silent.
Mother Earth is protected more than Father God is defended and
the pulpits are silent.
Illegal aliens over-run our borders and the pulpits are silent.
The entertainment industry celebrates debauchery and the pulpits are
silent.
From a bygone era, the sound from the pulpit rumbles throughout the
ages.
"Could a mariner sit idle if he heard the drowning cry? Could a
doctor sit in comfort and just let his patients die? Could a fireman
sit idle, let men burn and give no hand? Can you sit at ease in
Zion with the world around you DAMNED?" - Leonard Ravenhill.
Churches don't need new members half so much as they need the
old bunch made over. There wouldn't be so many non-church goers
if there were not so many non-going churches. Too many churches
are little more than four walls and a roof.- Billy Sunday
The voice from the pulpit today sings a different song.
"The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their
means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in
the end thereof?" Jeremiah 5:31.
Truth, justice and the American way are a thing of the past.
"None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in
vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth
iniquity." Isaiah 59:4.
Tragically, the pulpits are silent.

Apr. 15, 2008 Birthday celebration
Well, We went to see the house on Sunday. We were supposed to see it on Sat. but the agents children were sick. When we got there the out side of the house looks so cute but when we walked inside. Oh man, the floors were wavy and every time you would take a step you would sink and the floor would flatten out. We also found out that the house was 103 years old. There were cracks in the walls that was covered up with paint and the kitchen floor sloped. We decided that that house wasn't for us. I can understand why these people have their house of for sale. It is going down hill because it is so old!! So now we are looking other places. Don't want an old house like that because that will cost us an arm and a leg to get it up to tip top shape. We don't have that kind of money. We are praying that the Lord will open the doors for us. Also we are praying that the Lord will help us sell this house fast. Hopefully the house the Lord wants us in will be up for sale at the same time we well our house. We Have a lot of faith that this will happen. Please pray that we will sell this house and that will get what we ask out of it and that the doors will be opened.

We are going to go look at this house this Sat. This house is sitting on 5.5 acres. Not much to do anything with but we are going to go look at it anyway. It is a cute house. If it is the Lords all the doors will be open. If the owners will take our offer. This house has everything we need. But it doesn't have a basement. Oh well, I guess when you are wanting to live out in the country you aren't going to get what you want exactly. You will only get what you can afford.
Ok, so this week has been a slow week because everyone is trying to recover from being sick. Well our dd has been sick since yesterday and she has already lost her voice. Poor little girl. I was hoping that she wasn't going to get sick. But at least she hasn't gotten it as bad as what the rest of the family had.
We are running out of deer meat. This isn't good. We love deer meat it is the best kind of meat to eat. it hasn't been tainted by man. One of these day we are wanting to buy a side of beef and fill our freezer with organic meat. But we are thankful for the amount of deer me that we had.

Well today I am doing laundry. Our 4 year old son is sick with Influenza. He has been sick since Sunday. But I think he is doing better. Praise the Lord! So this week has been a relaxing week. We are getting our house ready to sell. We got all walls, cabinets, trim and base boards touched up with paint .We put in new carpet in the upstarts living room ,hall way and the stairs. So now we are waiting for the weather to warm up so we can put out the for sale sign. We are going to try and sell the house on our own and if that doesn't work we will go through an agent.
We are planning on going to a homeschooling conference in April and this will be the first time we have ever been. I really don't know what to expect. I hope I can meet some home schoolers that are of the same mindset as us. I hope I can get a lot of ideas and a lot of help and guidance from this conference. I am looking forward to it.
Today is pretty cold. This Morning it was only 19 degrees brrrrr. After I got a fire in the fire place going it took so long to get it warm in here but it finally got warm. |

Feb. 14, 2008 Our new Tractor
This is a picture of our tractor that we bought a few weeks ago, for when we purchase land. Hopefully We will be able to sell this house with no problems. It is so clean!! Justin wants to put it up for sale when it starts getting warmer outside. We are going to try and sell it ourselves. We need to find a place to live. After we sell the house. I know that Justin wants to build so we will need to find land with a mobile home on it or just vacant land and rent a place to live. I sure hope we find a place. I know the Lord has his hand in everything. We are just going to have to be patient. Our time is different than the Lords time. |

I Took this picture because I thought it was cute that dad took off running and then the kids took off after him. But what he was trying to do was run far enough ahead of the kids so that he could video tape them but it didn't work.
Nice family picture with the Pacific ocean behind us. As you can see there we a lot of para-surfers out there. It was pretty cold especially with our shoes off.
This is a picture of Trenton sitting in the seat of a DC-9 this is after we landed at the KCI airport. The Pilots let the kids sit the pilots seats. They really liked that.
This is Jenna in the co-pilots seat. Pretty neat, huh? The pilot was showing them all the gadgets and they also got to push some of the control buttons. They thought that was really neat. |

Jan. 10, 2008 Trying to recover from our trip
It all starts out like this. Our plane left for California on Jan 1st at 6:56am. We had to get up at 3:30Am because it takes us about an hour to drive to the airport. But before all this happened our step dad told us that he talked with a guy and said that we don't need to be at the airport an hour and a half before boarding. Because no one is going to be there that early. Well we listened to him and got there about 25 minutes before boarding. The airport was PACKED!! The lines were long and we were about to go crazy. Finally one of the people who worked there said anyone flying to Minneapolis? My husband said we are! So we were the last ones to get our luggage checked. I tell you sweat was running down my back. I was so hot trying to carry a whole bunch of stuff. What a blessing that we didn't miss our plane. In order to get to California we had to fly up to Minneapolis and catch a plane there and then fly down to California. I know that we aren't going to fly unless we can fly straight through. Well anyway our Trip was fun when we got there. The reason we went to Ca. was because my husbands dad lives there and we went to visit him. We got back this past Sunday and I think I am still on California time. Which is 2 hours behind us. I will put some pictures on here of our vacation in California a little bit later. Oh and to top that off when we flew back home we had to fly into Minneapolis and we got there an hour early so we were at the airport for over 3 hours before we could get on the plane to Missouri. That was fun. not!! Then our kids got to sit in the cockpit of the plane we flew in after we landed in Missouri. That was fun for the kids and for us to see them having fun. The pilots even let them push buttons. I have pictures of that also. I will post them on here a little bit later. |

Dec. 17, 2007 Missing my mom
Well Saturday night I balled my eyes out because I missed my mom. December 24th will be one year anniversary of her death. Even though things weren't right with us and even though we didn't have a close relationship or even a relationship at all. I tried my hardest to have a relationship with my mom but she didn't want it. I'll still miss her. It's sad I wished that we had a relationship and also I wished that we were a little closer before she passed away. I never get to talk to my sisters. I have 2 younger sisters and they don't want to talk to me. But I guess that is just as well beings that I am so different from them. My youngest sister is getting married on May 24th. I haven't heard from her in months. Sometimes I get lonley because I really don't have anyone to chat with except my husbands mom during the day. I am getting along fine with out my sisters. But It would be nice if they were interested in me and what I am doing. I am always interested in them but they don't seem to care. Oh well. It sounds like I am having a pitty party for myself doesn't it? Oh well at least I have the Lord and my family and that's all that matters. I am so glad I have the Lord. |

Dec. 12, 2007 Pictures for our last hunting trip
Justin and Jenna getting ready to go hunting. Jenna is taking her note book so she can draw and write. This is the first time that Jenna went out to set with her dad and she sat out there for 2 hours and Justin said that she stayed pretty quiet. She really enjoyed herself.
Trenton going down with his dad to hunt. This is also his first time hunting with dad. He sat out there for an hour and a half and dad said he did pretty good for a 4 year old.
Justin and Trenton turning around to wave to me as they are walking down to the hunting spot. |

I took down my first two deer this year. We are going hunting again in December so that my husband can fill his tags. Praise the Lord that we have meat again. We are so blessed to have natural meat. We took our children hunting. Our daughter went out with my husband to sit out there with him for 2 hours and that is pretty good considering she is 6 years old. She was quiet. Then after she sat out there with her dad our son went out to sit with him and he stayed out there for about an hour and a half. He is 4 years old. Justin told me that they both did pretty good.

I just found out about 15 minutes ago that my friend is having a baby girl!! Praise the Lord!! She and the momma are healthy which is a blessing also. Her Dream has come true! The Lord showed her years ago that she is going to have two girls. What a wonderful testimony.
We have had a busy 5 days with cutting wood to get ready for the winter. So far we have 3 cords of wood. What a blessing that is. I love to burn wood. the warmth from burning wood is far better than using the gas heater. The warmth of burning wood warms you to the bone. Burning wood also smells so good. |

Oct. 20, 2007 Today is a new day
Good morning to everyone!!
It is cold and sunny this morning. This morning I woke up and cleaned the kitchen and it looks so clean. I like looking at my clean house after it has been cleaned. My husband just went on a bike ride to get some exercise because he is going to go mountain biking with some of his friends that he works with. He said he better get into shape so he doesn't kill himself out there.
Today I think we are going over to my in-laws to load up some fire wood and bring it over to our house so we are ready to burn the wood in our fire place. Our original plans for this weekend was to take a trip to Des Moines, Iowa to go to a Clinton Anderson Horse seminar with my in-laws but they cancelled the trip because Clinton Anderson is having a seminar in our town next year in Feb. So I am excited to go to it and learn about training horses.
We got reaquanted with some friends of ours that we haven't seen in years. Found out that the my friend is pregnant and what a blessing that is. My friend was in a terrible car accident when she was 19 and she received brain damage and the doctor told her that she would never have children. Well the Lord thought differently. The Lord blessed this couple with a baby. She is almost 5 months along. Praise the Lord! our friends have been married almost 14 years and now they are able to have children because the Lord blessed them through the power of prayer. Ever since we started talking she asked me if I wanted to work out with her since she hasn't been able to work out because of her being sick during the first 4 months of her pregnancy. So I have been working out with her for 2 weeks now and I am seeing some results and also it is wonderful to be able to spend some time with my friend during the week.
My family is healthy!! Praise the Lord!! It's not fun seeing your children sick and not feeling good.
I don't know if anyone has heard of Youngevity.com. Our family has been ordering products from this site. We are benifeting from this. We have been taking EFA's and I am feeling a lot healthier. We also ordered the whey shake which is loaded with nutrients. Our children really like the shake. We ordered vitiamins with 130 vitiamins and minerals in it.
Hope everyone has a wonder day today and an wonderful weekend!
God Bless!! |

Finished painting!!! Yay!! I don't want to paint again for a while. It takes a long time to prepare for painting.
Now all we need to do is get things packaged up and organized for when it's time to put things into storage. Then hopefully we can put our house up on the market next spring.
Tomorrow my husband and I are taking the kids to a living history festival and that should be a lot of fun for the kids and us. My husband and I are history buffs and have never been to a reenactment before. I am excited.
I just found out this morning that having grey hair and aneurysms is a sign of a copper deficiency. Me and my husband need to take in more copper because I am getting grey hair and my husband has a lot of grey in his hair. So load up on the copper and you will notice a difference in your hair color. I know we don't get a lot of copper in the foods we eat today. |

I am so excited about our new filly coming into town. She is a registered Quarter horse and she is 16 months old. She is very jumpy and is going to need a lot of training. She is coming home today to my in-laws. She is coming from Texas. Her daddy is Smart Chick olena. She is a chich olena horse and she is a rone color with a white blaze on her face.
Homeschooling is going great. We are taking it one day at a time. DD is wanting to learn and I am so glad about that. signed the children up for gymnastics and they really like that. They look forward to it every week.
We have been so busy this year with trying to get our house ready to sell. dh had to work today and he wanted to paint the outside of the house after he came home from work but it looks like it is going to rain. Hopefully it won't get to cold for him to paint later on in the week.
Our ds is potty trained!!!! woohooo!!! I am so happy. I was so tired of changing his dirty diapers. It also is saving us money. Now he is wearing big boy unders. He is so proud of them. I am too |

Aug. 4, 2007 me with our beautiful children
I don't know what I was thinking when I deleted all of my blog entries. I am sorry for being gone so long. I was planning on not coming back. I have decided to come back and start all over again. So much has happened since I have been away. We updated our kitchen and finally got the new flooring in. Now we are needing to paint the outside of the house so that we can have the house ready to sell when it is the right time.. We are going to go look at some property with 20 acers with a house on it this Sunday. I am so excited about looking at it. You never know it might be the place we have prayed for. We will have to see if it feels right or not. |
