Missing my mom

Well Saturday night I balled my eyes out because I missed my mom. December 24th will be one year anniversary of her death.

Even though things weren't right with us and even though we didn't have a close relationship or even a relationship at all. I tried my hardest to have a relationship with my mom but she didn't want it. I'll still miss her. It's sad I wished that we had a relationship and also I wished that we were a little closer before she passed away. I never get to talk to my sisters. I have 2 younger sisters and they don't want to talk to me. But I guess that is just as well beings that I am so different from them. My youngest sister is getting married on May 24th. I haven't heard from her in months. Sometimes I get lonley because I really don't have anyone to chat with except my husbands mom during the day. I am getting along fine with out my sisters. But It would be nice if they were interested in me and what I am doing. I am always interested in them but they don't seem to care. Oh well. It sounds like I am having a pitty party for myself doesn't it? Oh well at least I have the Lord and my family and that's all that matters. I am so glad I have the Lord.

Aww, I feel for you. I do have my mom, and we get along great, but I never thought I could miss someone I never had. My mom and biological father divorced when I was 1 (?). So I never knew him or his side of the family. I HAVE been in contact with some of them, and even met an aunt and my grandparents in person. But, I have only talked to my dad one or twice on the phone. I am saddened by not having had the chance to know them growing up. I know GOD sees the bigger picture, but sometimes it is hard to be content, ya know? I am trying my hardest to reach them by phone again...am starting to think I am being avoided, but, maybe not. I'll not give up, even if I have to drive 12 hours and just show up on their doorstep! :)

I guess we live on a small farm. We have 10 acres, about 7 are pasture. We usually have 4 or 5 cows. Now we also have chickens, 10 hens and a rooster. Love those fresh eggs!

Frog legs are one thing I have never tried. I may try them sometime, before I die...lol. I have not eaten coon, either, though my dh and a friend go coon hunting. My mil has bbq'ed them in a crockpot, but I could never get past something my sil said, "it looks like a giant rat." blech
Deer meat, and squirrel I can do. Hope you have a better day tomorrow! :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog and that thing over my dryer is none other than a towel ;-) It needed something. It has a bit of rust.
I pray that God fill your life with Sisters in Him. I have 5 brothers that I do not hear from much and two younger that I talk to only a few times a year. I sometimes get down about it but then I think of my family in Christ. He has filled my life with friends and family in Him and I pray He do the same for you.

Hi,
I had help with my blog. I play a little here and there but really know very little. Debbie from http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/mychildrenandme/ helped me, well pretty much designed my blog tempate. I just change whats on there a bit here and there. If you go to her blog she has links on her side bar on help with your blog and such. Hope that helps you out some.
