For Today

Outside my window...it's a lovely cool and sunny day. Perfect for mowing the lawn and adding a little bit more to my outdoor fall decorations

I'm thinking...too much these days. I need to learn to rest in Christ and quiet myself.

I'm thankful for...the opportunity to spend some time with my niece today. She's just the cutest little thing!

I'm wearing...long denim skirt, pink babydoll top and blue zip up sweatshirt. Blue Crocs and my ahir up in a clip.

I'm remembering...the precious family in my church grieving the loss of their little boy

I'm creating...my creativity is a bit nonexistant at the moment. I really need to find something creative to do. Maybe I can finally start knitting that shawl I've wanted for oh, four years now.

I'm going...to pick up some fabric softener later.

I'm reading...My Life for Yours by Douglas Wilson

I'm hoping...to be able to spend more time with my sisters in love. I'm truly blessed to have the wonderful extended family that I do. Plus, they think I'm cool.

From the learning rooms...things are moving along swimmingly so far this year. Thank you Lord!

Noticing that...my dogs need baths

From the kitchen...beef stew tonight and maybe some apple dumplings later this week.

Around the house...normal Monday chores to be done along with needing to get the garden put to bed for the year. I think my eggplant are done now so this should be the final week.

One of my favorite things...the way my kids hair smells after they've been outside in the sun. Such a warm sweetness. Bliss!

A few plans for the rest of the week...school, chores, errands on Thursday and hopefully a coffee night. Starbucks pumpkin spice latte is back. YUM!
