I am currently home with only one child, and it isn't the baby! Allyson has a softball game, and I really am just beat, couldn't talk myself into going. I do feel horribly guilty, I attend almost all of the kids activities, but I just felt like staying home tonight. Brad (dh) took Landon with him to the game, Jayson is spending the night at Grandmas, so that leaves Dalton and I at home. I installed our new chess software on the other computer for Dalton and he is playing with that currently.
Regarding softball, it seems that and swimming are ruling our summer at the moment. We have swim practice every morning, swim meets two nights a week, and softball two other nights. This schedule keeps me very busy and running, but I think it is the childrens favorite time of year. Swimming actually gets Dalton out of bed happily in the morning, which is a miracle in itself. Jayson keeps bringing me his ribbons for the season so far, and tells me how good he feels about himself. That certainly makes the added responsibility worth it.
After swim practice this morning, we decided to head down to the beach for a while. The conditions were not perfect, but that didn't keep the boys out of the water. I am sure sitting in the sun didn't help my fatigue though!
After a bit of a rough spot, Brad and I seem to be back on the right track today. That is definitely the thing I am most grateful for today. That man is my other half, the one that completes me
